Happy Diwali

Today we celebrate the Festival of Lights — a time of joy, hope, and the triumph of light over darkness.
May this Diwali bring happiness, peace, and prosperity to all who are celebrating.

Let’s continue to spread kindness, understanding, and light within our communities.

Today, on Show Racism the Red Card Day, we stand united against racism in all its forms.
Racism has a devastating impact on mental health — it can cause stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma that too often go unrecognised.

As we celebrate Black History Month, we also commit to action: to listen, learn, and challenge racism wherever we see it. Everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and valued.

Let’s work together to create communities — and mental health services — that are truly inclusive, equitable, and anti-racist.

Calling all ex-Forces members and those who support them!

The Poppy Factory are reviewing how veterans in South Wales find and connect with local support for challenges such as mental or physical health, housing, employment, addiction, and loneliness.

They would really appreciate your help by answering four short questions — it only takes a few minutes. Your feedback will help:
✅ Understand what support is working (and what’s missing)
✅ Evidence where more help may be needed
✅ Shape future services for ex-Forces communities

Thank you for helping improve support for those who have served.
