When I started at home in 2023, I tried to capture photos and videos at the start and end of my sessions. I know how much clients love to see the physical change in their body, not just feel the relief. I get it from both sides—visual progress is rewarding!
But honestly? I didn’t enjoy it, I still don’t, the angle, the lighting, the editing, the 100’s of photos for 1 decent one - it’s exhausting.
I’m a practitioner, not a content creator. I’ve realized that trying to “get the shot” pulls me away from the work I’m truly passionate about.
Here is how things will work at Dimples moving forward:
✨ Your time is sacred: When you’re in my room, your session doesn’t begin at the consultation—it begins the moment my hands begin to work. I refuse to stop or “pause” to snap a photo because it breaks the flow of your treatment and takes away from your recovery.
✨ Quality over “Likes”: While I know social media helps find new clients, I’d much rather you find me through word-of-mouth and honest reviews of my practice. I value your results more than my follower count.
✨ Occasional Content: I’ll still post updates, tips, and the occasional treatment highlight. I may even run “Content Day” offers where sessions are discounted in exchange for capturing case study content going back into university - but these will be specific days, not the standard.
My priority isn’t the camera; it’s you. I’m choosing to keep my focus where it belongs: on the work and on your healing. 👐
Thank you for supporting a practice that puts the person on the table first - more updates to come.
