🔥The ultimate core and pelvic floor challenge 🔥
Can you plank and blow up a balloon?
It is a great way to challenge your core and pelvic floor, as they have to be strong enough to support you in generating sufficient intra abdominal pressure to inflate the balloon.
You can make this exercise easier by inflating a balloon while:
🧸Doing a bear hold
🤸in a side plank
🧎♀️doing a knees down plank
🧱Planking against a wall
If you find you can't blow up a balloon at all, this can indicate weakness somewhere in your abdominal canister eg pelvic floor or abdomen. This is something a Plevic health Physio can help to diagnose and treat.
