🌟 Acupuncture Facial 🌟
Facial acupuncture can help to make your skin look smoother, brighter and healthier. It not only combats the signs of ageing but improves overall skin health.
🌟
To experience the holistic benefits of this treatment needles will be placed in the body to increase the flow of energy. Then gold needles will be placed in the face.
🌟
These needles stimulate your lymphatic and circulatory system to nourish your skin from the inside out. Your body will increase the production of collagen which improves skin elasticity, minimising lines and wrinkles.
🌟
One treatment £60, course of 4 treatments £220. Get in touch if you have questions or to book, I'd love to hear from you 😊

THE ROLE OF ACUPUNCTURE IN CONTROLLING CHRONIC PAIN

Some people live with chronic pain on a daily basis and the effect on their lives and wellbeing can be quite devastating. Pain is the bodies reaction to trauma, inflammation or illness.

It is not unusual for heavy duty medicines to be prescribed routinely to deal with constant pain, and in the short term they can be helpful.

Problems occur when the short term becomes long term, to get the same level of pain relief will require higher and higher doses.

Side effects of taking some of these drugs can be physically awful, causing constipation or stomach and bowel problems, and can also lead to lethargy, brain fog, depression and addiction. People who become addicted to prescription drugs are not really aware of the problem until they try to stop using them.

Acupuncture or Acupoint massage (tui na) can be really helpful for people wanting an alternative to conventional Western drug therapies for pain control or general well-being.

The aim of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is to help the body to heal itself using acupuncture channels which run throughout the whole body. Tapping into these channels using fine needles or finger pressure can unblock and resolve the pain issues.

Thank you ❤I enjoy what I do so it's lovely to know that people benefit from the sessions. 🌸

Tui Na (pronounced "twee na")
is a deep tissue Chinese Massage.
🌸
Sessions are based on the theory that an imbalance of qi (chi) which is the bodies life force or energy, can cause blockages or imbalances that lead to symptoms such as inflamation, pain or illness.
🌸
Tui Na massage stimulates the flow of qi to promote balance and harmony within the body.
🌸
Tui Na is similar to Acupuncture using many of the same specific points but using fingers to apply pressure instead of Acupuncture needles.
🌸
Tui Na massage can be applied through loose clothing so treatments are particularly valued by clients who prefer not to remove their clothes.
🌸
For Tui Na Head Massage the fingers need to manipulate the scalp so corn rows or tightly pulled hairstyles are not advised.
Head points in Acupuncture are not affected by hairstyle.

Hi, I am Meg and I became interested in Acupuncture when I had treatments myself for long term shoulder and neck pain. I admit, at the time I was a complete sceptic but six weeks later I was relatively pain free. So, no longer sceptical.

In 2007 I started my Tui Na training and I have traveled to China to study twice. In
2010 I spent time in Jinang China, studying alongside Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners.
In 2012 I travelled to Beijing International Acupuncture Training Centre where I was able to observe and practice in a hospital setting under the supervision of some very learned, generous, professors.
What I learned from their years of combined experience has influenced my practice immensely.
