Very suddenly at home in Portsoy on Saturday September 20, 2025. Margaret Hamilton nee Anderson, aged 87 years, dearly loved wife of the late Arthur Robert Nix and a loving mother of the late Murray, a much loved, sister, aunt and friend to many. Funeral service at Portsoy Church Centre on Thursday October 2 at 1.30pm thereafter to Moray Crematorium. All family and friends are respectfully invited. No flowers please but donations in lieu if desired at Church door to R.N.L.I. and Portsoy Thrift Shop.

Isobel Helen nee Murray, aged 77 years, Culphin Cottage, Cornhill dearly loved wife of George Mearns, loving mother of Sarah and Brian and granny to Craig, Arran, Taylor, Abbie and Millie and a dear sister to James. Funeral service at Moray Crematorium on Thursday September 25 at 2.30pm. All friends are respectfully invited. Barry Edward McGarvey, sadly died aged 82 years old on 2 September 2025 at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, surrounded by his loving family. Much loved and devoted dad to Rachel, Julian, Trudy, Timothy, Dinah, Neil, Jason, Kirsty & Zivana. Dearly beloved Father-in-law, Grandad, Great-Grandad, Brother, Brother-in-law, Uncle and Cousin to his precious family and a Dear friend to many. Following a private cremation a Memorial Service at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Park Road, Portsoy, AB45 2PQ on Saturday 13 September 2025 at 12pm. All who knew Barry are welcome. Family flowers only. Refreshments to be served.

Anne (nee Walker) aged 73 years (formerly Head Cook at Portsoy Primary School) 38 Queens Crescent Portsoy, beloved wife of James, dearly love mother of Barry and Paul, daughter in law of Kristen, a cherished granny of Brandan, Kallum, Jamie and Austin and a good friend and neighbour. Funeral service at Portsoy Church Centre on Monday August 4 at 1.30pm, thereafter to Portsoy Cemetery. All friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please but donations in lieu if desired at Church door to Woodend Hospital.
