Postnatal treatments

OK, so you've done it!! You have made it to parenthood but it can feel totally overwhelming! The simplest of tasks now have an added level of complication and you can find yourself over thinking everything. You and your baby are learning your new roles...
Add to this your body has just been through a huge change, adapting to carry your baby and then the birth process. It's a lot of physical demand for your body. Add to that the massive hormone shift taking place and finding your way around your ever changing body all while having the responsibility of your new little poppet. You also can't rest like you once could have.

Treatments are a necessary part of your recovery. You can come alone or bring baby, we also have plenty of space if u would like to bring baby and a helper. First important thing is that your treatments work for you. Regardless of the birth you have chosen you will likely benefit from a massage, remember we have many different styles to help soothe away aches and pains, release tension, boost circulation, encourage lymph movement and reduce fluid retention. Maybe it's some reflexology designed to balance mind and body, supporting hormone regulation and encouraging a reduction in cortisol levels. As always we can combine treatments and we make sure you are nice and comfortable.

Postnatal care is incredibly vital for your recovery and I am here for you. Xx

This is a really special one for me 🥰

This gorgeous boy is George and his Mummy and Daddy are two of the most wonderful people EVER. I am so lucky to support women during this amazing process but to support friends is an honour.

Rhona and Dave worked with me in preparing for a home birth and although that plan didn't go ahead they were able to make decisions that were right for them and baby George from a place of knowledge and strength.

You are designed to give birth, you are strong and your body is capable. This we know...... So why not just trust the process and let it be? Why read, study and prepare for birth when it's something that our ancestors did over and over again? Well it's because of sooo many different reasons and one of those reasons is the lack of confidence we have in our bodies and in our instinctual abilities to birth our babies and make our own decisions about our birth. If I inspire at least 1 person to at least pick up a book, read some articles, listen to positive birth stories and dedicate some time to learn more about birth then great 👍. Or....if you want me to support you throughout this process then I would love to help.

I am running a heart-led business which means that I don't make much money but I love what I do. I also love being able to reach lots of women and families so I can share my knowledge and support you to have a positive birth experience. I have purposely charged a lot less for my services than what others do so that I could build up a client base and I am now receiving most of my new clients based on recommendations from previous clients which I really appreciate - more than you know. My business and selling skills are also alot to be desired, again, because I'm heart-led in everything I do and If I could afford it it would honestly do all of this for free. So as of January 2024 these will be my new prices. ❤️

Our senses can really have an impact on how we think, what we think, what we feel and how we behave. Some senses are more prominent and impactful than others and it is very individual to you. Your senses have likely changed and become more sensitive during pregnancy so take some time to work out what triggers you and what anchors you and take this knowledge into your your birthing room. birth
