If you’re dealing with lower back pain, start by looking at your glutes.

Weak or inactive glutes often lead to overloading the lower back.

Focus on activating and strengthening your glutes, and building the entire posterior chain to take pressure off your lower back.

Simple work done consistently can make a big difference.

High reps do have their place in physical preparation — but at the right time.

They are most useful at the beginning of a training phase, where the goal is to build muscular endurance and anatomical adaptation, using controlled tempo.

Doing everything explosively with high reps will only lead to faster fatigue of the nervous system, rather than building an optimal foundation.

Train with purpose, not just intensity.
