I’m not expecting you to take my word when it comes to the work we do here at The Studio…

And anyway, these legends have explained it way better than I ever could…

How many times have you told yourself you just don’t have time to start something new?

Read this to get an honest insight into what that REALLY means…

🚗Your teenager needs a lift somewhere.
🛍️Your ageing mom needs help with groceries.
📑Your boss needs that report "ASAP."
😷Your house looks like an episode of “Life of Grime” (remember that?).

And somewhere in the middle of all that...

You're supposed to find time for yourself?

Yeah, right. 🙄

But here's the thing about "I don't have time"...

It's usually code for something deeper. Things like:

"I feel guilty taking time for myself"
"Everyone else's needs come first"
"I'm scared to prioritise my own well-being"

Trust me, I get it.

We're masters at putting ourselves last.

We'll schedule dentist appointments for the whole family, book a hair appointment for our Mums and ferry everyone around…

But when it comes to our own health?

"I'll start when things calm down" (Spoiler alert: They never do)

Taking time for yourself isn't selfish.

It's strategic.

Terrified of weights? Let’s clear up the scary myths…👇

So, if you’ve been around these parts recently, you’d have seen that we are now offering strength training classes at The Studio…

I had one lady enquire, but when we spoke, she said, 

"But Lauren, I don't want to end up looking bulky!"

So, I thought I’d come on and reassure anyone who might have similar reservations…

Let me paint you a picture of what ACTUALLY happens in our strength classes:

Picture this:

You're surrounded by women just like you...

And you're about to discover what your body can REALLY do.

Here's what strength training with us looks like:

Dumbbells at a weight right for you

Controlled, purposeful movements

Full guidance from certified trainers to guard against injury

Modifications for EVERY body

Zero pressure or judgement

What it's NOT:

❌ Heavy powerlifting
❌ Complicated gym equipment
❌ Intimidating atmosphere
❌ Getting "bulky"
❌ Being pushed beyond your limits

What it IS:

✅ Building lean muscle

One of my members told me that she’d been nervous about lifting weights at first but now she could carry her groceries in from the car without help.

What even IS Reformer Pilates when it’s at home?!

I’ve been banging on about our new Reformer Pilates classes for a while now, and it struck me that some of you might be unsure of exactly what’s involved…

So here it is, my beginner’s guide to understanding Reformer Pilates…

Picture this:

You're lying on what looks like a fancy bed with springs and ropes...

It's called a Reformer.

And it's about to become your new best friend.

Here's why:

Think of it as Pilates with superpowers.

The Reformer uses springs, pulleys, and your own body weight to:

Most of our members were terrified to walk through these doors the first time.

"I've never done it before..."
