🔥 Stuck. Angry. Afraid and Still Beautiful. 🔥
Ever felt stuck in a job that no longer fits, a relationship where words don’t land, or a creative project that just won’t flow?
That stuckness, tight in the chest, heavy in the limbs, often masks deeper currents: unmet needs, unspoken fears, and the quiet ache of avoidance. When we don’t name it, it can shapeshift into reactive anger. We lash out, shut down, or spiral into “I should’ve... I must... I have to...”
All of which only deepens the freeze.
But what if the way through isn’t force, but movement?
Movement: gentle, expressive, meditative, can unstick what language cannot.
Whether it’s painting (like this dragon I poured in reds, oranges, and yellows), walking, dancing, gardening, climbing, or cleaning... movement bypasses the mind’s defences and speaks directly to the body’s truth.
It’s not about solving the problem. It’s about shifting the energy.
Before we push for change, we need to pause and name what’s here.
“I feel stuck.”
“I feel afraid.”
“I feel angry.”
Naming is the first movement. Then, we move with it, not against it.
So next time you feel blocked, try this:
• Stop.
• Name the feeling.
• Move in any way that feels safe and true.
• Let the body lead you back to breath, rhythm, and possibility.
You might just find that the dragon you feared was your own fire waiting to be reclaimed.
