When we stopped bottle feeding/breast pumping and using dummies I thought I would be passed sterilising my kids things. But no! Now I'm sterilising mouth guards! Who would have known 🤣

Baby and Me, Baby Massage classes at Balgownie Community Centre every Tuesday from 1pm-2.30pm. new 5 week block starts this Tuesday 24th February 2026.

Classes are suitable from birth until 12 months and it is never too late to learn massage with your little one!

Baby and Me classes are completely baby-led, so all crying, feeding, changing, bouncing, cuddling and everything in-between is very much welcome!!!!! Come along and deepen your bond together, while learning a new skill and socialising with other like-minded parents. Our classes come with no judgement and are a safe space to share your honest experiences of parenting.

You can also join your class WhatsApp group so the support and connection lasts continuously over the 5 weeks, not just on a Tuesday. There are also meets up outside of class for pudding, conversation or walks with the group.

Pancake Day at Baby and Me this week. Every family received at least one pancake, with their choice of jam, butter or chocolate spread! Two lovely ladies brought vegan, gluten free pancakes and vegan, blueberry pancakes. I feel so honoured to have such an amazing community of Mums around me!!!!!

Come and join us for the new block of an Introduction to Baby Yoga from Tuesday 24th February to 14th April (no classes 03/03, 31/03 & 07/04) at Balgownie Community Centre, from 11.45am-12.45pm.

Each class is a progression on the week before and no two classes will ever be exactly the same. We have lots of songs and rhymes which allows you the opportunity to try out these moves at home outside class. There are also special themed weeks for things like Burns day, Valentines, Easter and holidays!

All classes deepen the bond between adult and baby, giving both confidence in how to be together physically and how to connect emotionally. Baby yoga helps to develop and stimulate your baby's brain, the circulation of their blood, aids natural deep sleep, helps combat the discomfort of gas, colic and reflux and brings deep joy and fun to your baby's life. There are lots of benefits for adults too! We practice gentle exercise at the appropriate level for your postpartum body regaining strength and awareness of your core and pelvic floor muscles. There is a connection to your breath and how to practice relaxation techniques with or around your baby.

Booking is open for all classes from NOW through to June 2025. Classes are held at Balgownie Community Centre on a Tuesday.

There are four classes available to you:
💜Baby Massage (birth to 12 months)
💛Introduction to Baby Yoga (8 weeks to 4 months)
🧡Baby Yoga (12 weeks to precrawling)
💚Mobile Baby Yoga (Crawling/rolling to 18months)

Newburgh & Foveran Baby & Toddler Group runs every Thursday 13.15–14.45 at Foveran Village Hall, for children from newborn to Primary 1.

We’re currently offering all February sessions completely free to encourage more families to come along and help us keep the group going.

It’s a friendly, welcoming group with toys, crafts, play dough, and a cuppa and biscuits for adults ☕

It's Graduation Day today!! 🎓🎓

Lots of families will be graduating from their Baby Massage and/or Introduction to Baby Yoga classes today. It is a huge privilege to be a small part of a new family's daily life and to be trusted with one of their first baby classes. I appreciate each and every family that comes along. Baby and Me classes focus on the adults as much as the babies. You are both important in a Baby and Me class. Everything is baby led and there is no pressure of joining in or feeling guilty if you are 'missing' an element of the class.

Baby and Me is very welcoming and laid back. Come along in your comfy clothes for some special bonding time with your little one, conversations with the other adults in the room and connecting back to your own body and breathing work.

Applications are assessed based on set criteria, and are not prioritised by the date they are received but applications close on 6 March 2026.
