⚠️ Weather Update – Monday 5th January ⚠️

Due to the Amber weather warning for snow in place until 10am Monday morning, some appointments have been changed to telephone consultations. We have contacted affected patients and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Please note:
• Some staff live in rural areas, so further cancellations may be necessary depending on road conditions.

• We may be operating with reduced staffing levels, so we appreciate your patience and understanding while we do our best to help everyone.

Staying safe:
• Do not travel if it is unsafe for you to do so.

• Consider changing your appointment to a telephone consultation if appropriate.

• If you need to cancel an appointment, please call us from 8am Monday on 01224 822866.

• Please take extra care if attending the practice, as the public car park remains covered in snow.

REMINDER: ⚠️❄️ Snow & ice = very busy Emergency Departments. If you can, please avoid all non-essential travel. Stay home, stay warm, and stay safe.

If you must go out:
• dress warmly
• wear shoes with good grip
• take extra care on icy surfaces

Childhood vaccination information 👶🏻

💙From 1 January 2026 the combined MMRV (measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella) vaccine will be offered to all children in the UK as part of the routine childhood immunisation schedule, which replaces the existing MMR vaccine.
