No team, No Butterfly Squad hero day. It’s that simple. These are the amazing people who made it happen.
The best squad ever and I am so grateful to all of you ❤️

Alex and Matt the owners of the incredible TTZ. They gave us their space, their time, their knowledge and access to their community. From building things up to taking everything down, keeping me on schedule, and showing nothing but patience even when I asked for the phone passcode for the 87th time.

World champions Jessi & Chandler smith Joined us for the day, we are lucky to have them as butterfly squads hero ambassador and they are the best role models for our little heroes. They gave up their time and their day, brought unmatched energy, and showed exactly why they are such special humans. The kindest people you could ever meet.

Amy Flood captured the day perfectly. Without her, so many of the moments from the day simply wouldn’t exist. She gave us memories we will always have. She gave up her time to come and capture all of our superheroes.

Meg handled the videography for the day , and without her, the day wouldn’t live on. She captured the energy, the emotion, and the moments that matter most. We were super lucky to have her.

Surreal sponsored our goodie bags with their amazing cereal so our little heroes each got to take something home.

And then there was my little lady. Hope. Home from university for the holidays and right by my side helping wherever she was needed and keeping things moving behind the scenes. Seeing her run around and step up was awesome. Having her there made the day even more special. Love You kid xx ❤️

At our Butterfly Squad Hero Day, we didn’t just move our bodies, we also began unlocking the first two superpowers of becoming a powerful ninja of our own mind.

The first superpower was learning to recognise the positive and negative feeling words they have.

Once we identified the feelings, we then learnt that this is called being above the line or below the line.

From there, we learned that when we are feeling a below the line word, how to pause, notice and ask ourself ‘what happened’

Being able to identify emotions is such a powerful skill. Noticing them, understanding them, and then choosing differently is how we begin to rewire our minds.

That’s where children become powerful ninjas of their own minds.

This is my core mission, to arm kids with this knowledge so they know their worth, their power, and just how incredibly amazing they truly are 💫💛

We went straight into our next superpower which is all about our 🦜 and 🧚🏻‍♀️ which I’ll be posting next
