Mothers Day looks different for everyone.

For me, it's a day of mixed emotions.

My little people wanting to celebrate me as their Mum.
Mixed with the fact, I am a Mum, without my Mum.
And that can be hard.

So today it was a wee visit with flowers to the woman who inspired me to be the Mum I am today. 💜 who I carry in my heart everyday.

I'm so very grateful for all she taught me.

And if Mothers Day is hard for you too, for whatever reason, be gentle with yourself, and I hope you have spent the day with people you love.

I'm pressing the pause button this week.

And it's not easy to do.

Its been a crazy 6 weeks of various car disasters, with one still out of action (IYKYK), transporting the eldest to work and supporting a couple of my other kids emotionally with school drama, all the while keeping my wee business and household running.
Throw in a couple of Birthdays last week, and wow, the spinning plates are beginning to wobble.

So today, I am accepting I'm human and that i do not have magical powers.
Time to slow down, reset, reduce the workload, be more present for my littles, and fill my cup so I am able to give.

If I'm honest I have kept powering through each week hoping that things will settle the next week, but they haven't. So it's time to follow my own advice and slow down, before the plates come crashing down.

I have put a message in the Mum and Baby WhatsApp group and will update the other class WhatsApp soon.

Thank you all for the lovely messages of support, you truly are a wonderful, supportive wee community. 🥰

So.....

I have been working on a little something in the background. Based on listening to opinions and chat in classes.

This is something I've wanted to do for a while but life just kept getting in the way, then there is the little pesky thing called self doubt that made me wobble.

But I've decided to trust my instincts, because this is what I tell you all to do, so I guess I should follow my own advice, right??

So here we go.......got my big girl pants on.

I really hope you are all going to support me with this one. 🙏

It's so lovely to see you.

January flew by so quickly, we loved the snow, the rain less so.

February, you have been a s* show for us personally. The car dramas just kept on rolling, and still are tbh.
It was mentally draining and very stressful. My wee business took the hit and it was all I could do to be present for classes, so something had to give, and that was showing up on here.
But I was always here in the background, supporting the girls through their beautiful transition to Motherhood, sometimes you don't have to be visible on social media to be achieving.

March, I have high hopes for you. Fresh spring days, please, that put a bounce in our steps.
The ability to invest my time in my wee business.

It's time to emerge from the hibernation of winter.
Time to live with purpose, and look forward to sunny days.

Thank you all for your patience the last couple of weeks.
We've been dealing with lots of car disasters that have taken up a lot of my time, only leaving me time for teaching my classes. So admin has had to take a back seat to keep all the other plates spinning. It's been a lot!
