📣 Spotlight Provider of the Month - Penumbra 📣

Introducing Penumbra! As a charity, Penumbra delivers dedicated support to individuals experiencing mild to serious and enduring mental health challenges. Their person-centred approach empowers people to take control of their recovery journey and find their own way forward.

While Penumbra provides their services across Scotland, the Aberdeen team and GCC work closely to provide care at home to those that need it within the city. This includes practical, emotional, and social support suited to the individual client.

Looking for a warm meal and friendly company now that the cold weather is here? The Seaton Winter Lunch Club is open to all – no charge, just good food and good conversation.

Hosted on the below dates at Seaton Community Centre, this will be a relaxed space where the community can come together and share a light lunch.

FREE Weekly Online Sessions with AIMS 💻📣

Living with Multiple Sclerosis? AIMS (Aberdeen Independent Multiple Sclerosis) is here to help.

AIMS offer free weekly digital sessions designed specifically for people affected by MS. Each week, you can take part in seated, MS-friendly exercise classes to help you stay active at your own pace. There are also relaxed social meetups where you can connect, chat, and share with others who understand what you’re going through.

There’s no cost for these sessions - just supportive movement and friendly faces from the comfort of your own home.

🧡 Professional Care Workers Week may have wrapped up, but our appreciation is ongoing! 🧡

Last week, our team marked the occasion by showing our support for the incredible support workers across Aberdeen City. We dropped off some bright orange goodie bags as a small gesture to say thank you for the work they do every day.

🌼 Dementia Support Group Lunchtime Talk 🌼

The Forget-Me-Not Club will be hosting a free lunchtime talk on September 24th to support those living with Dementia and their families. The session will explore the features and stages of Dementia, offer practical coping strategies, and provide emotional support for caregivers and loved ones.
