I just wanted to take the time to pop on and acknowledge how fortunate I am to have connections on a daily basis with so many lovely and inspiring women! 👭👭👭👭👭👭

We can be so hard on ourselves ladies! I often think this is the biggest downfall when it comes to social media is the constant need to compare even when we dont maybe even know we are doing it......Am I doing enough?Am I coping?Am I doing too much? Am I a good friend? Am I a good Mother? Am I getting the balance right here? Im sure you have asked yourself at least one of these questions.❓️❓️❓️❓️

What we must remember today and everyday is it is a VERY hard time to be alive and be spinning those plates (juggle struggle) as some of you will have heard me refer to it🤣

We are surrounded my conflict, a rise in the cost of living,and I dont know exactly why but I do also see the curse of social media within it. I truly feel we are living in a point in time where people often are existing as opposed to LIVING. Quite simply hanging on by a thread. I know this because I spend every working day talking to you guys!

So this is my consensus. I dont have it all figured out by any stretch of the imagination there are many elements of my life I wish I could change but I am grateful for what I do have. 🤗🤗🤗

Feb was admitadely a very quick month with you guys keeping me very busy during a month that can sometimes be slower!!I am however so ready for more daylight/yellow dot and a tiny bit of warmth too that would be quite simply medicinal!! 🤩🤩🤩 Seeing some light gleaming through while carrying out massage and facials was so revitalising!! 🔥

I continue to have an issue ongoing with pain in my elbow🙄 It felt much worse after two days with loads of massage. So just wanted make everyone aware Im trying to make 3 massage services a day, the maximum. Ibuprofen is deff not doing the job but hoping to get a bit more advise at upcoming appointment! 🙏

Had my own wee month end win. Ive mentioned the garmin badges to some of you before and I am that person that it motivates. You know virtual reward- the actual delight!! 🤣🤣 I got the run 80k in Feb badge which I was really pleased with it considering it featured such little weather that I felt like moving in never mind running. I know so many people smashing there running or personal or running goals or even stripping back those goals just to make do. One day...one step.... so for me I won my own race. Im in competition with only one person every single day- ME!! 🏆🏆🏆

I hope the month ahead is one with much blossoming all around us. Also within your personal growth in what ever it is you wish to acheive - I feel I often need reminding that goals are as much about the journey to get to them. Some short and easy travelled some long and winding and alot more bumpy to get to your destination!🙌🏻🙌🏻

Please be advised of new waxing price structure as of beginning of March. I hate having to do price increase as I always like to keep things as affordable as possible!

This becomes harder when every time you go to the wholesaler the costs of wax/strips etc seems to have increased!!

I do hope that as clients you understand that I value you all incredibly and I just want to try to protect myself as I see so many businesses failing etc.

If its sore or red or bruised "let's put the green stuff on it"🟢 (Tamanu Balm)

Uses the body pebbles in the shower!

I even used Elixir on his cradle cap which worked a treat!

Ever considered WAXING ❓

Waxing really should not be an anxiety inducing, or terrible experience. Firstly if you have had a traumatic experience then I'm so sorry you had to go through that! It infuriates me that some of those experiences have been so bad that people end up thinking its just how it is. It can then take a whole lot of courage to ever decide to be waxed again. I mean it wholeheartedly when I say this. Minimal discomfort is normal, not agony!

FAQ❓’s

How long should I grow my hair for?
2 weeks minimum is most helpful to ensure that waxing is carried out when as many hairs have reached the surface as possible. Realistically I absolutely need your hair to remove it! So many of you tell me, your embarrassed that it's long but the more hair generally the better results! After your first appointment waxing should then be continued every 4-6 weeks depending on hair growth. 😍

What is a normal reaction?
Localised redness in the area which should disappear within 24 hours.
I have over the years seen some horrendous contractions (things that shouldn't happen) after waxing ie clients showing me the result or a picture etc.
Bruising, excessive bleeding, removal of several layers of skin. NONE of these are normal reactions!!!❌❌

Do you use Lycon Wax?
Lycon is a well established hot waxing brand of many which exist on the market. I use a very similar brand which has, in my opinion, as effective removal as Lycon. Lycon is an expensive brand to purchase meaning the treatment cost itself is higher in salons using this product. I feel I have sourced a good alternative!👌

What type of waxing should I get?

I cover all body areas of waxing but for Intimate waxing I have included a wee visual! 👀

I know someone who gets a Full Hollywood in 20 mins. Can you do this?
Now while I absolutely cannot talk about another person's practice without seeing it, I have certainly heard of this regularly. All I will say is in my professional opinion, it's quite simple. There can be a big difference between being quick and being thorough! Also most of the time unless you have very minimal hair growth (for example someone who has waxed for many years) this can only be achieved through removing huge sections of hair at once, which would give overall much more discomfort! 😲
