Although we were originally due to have external entertainment in the afternoon, the snowy weather meant travel just wasnโt possible but that certainly didnโt stop the fun at Rubislaw Park Care Home !โ๏ธ๐
Instead, we did what we do best and made our own entertainment, turning the afternoon into a lively and laughter-filled quiz session in the main dining room.๐โ๏ธ
Residents gathered together in a warm, welcoming space as our team hosted a fun and engaging quiz, carefully adapted so everyone could join in at their own level. Questions sparked conversation, friendly debate, shared memories, and plenty of laughs, with residents supporting one another and celebrating every answer, right or wrong! โ๏ธ๐
Quizzes are a wonderful way to encourage cognitive stimulation, memory recall, and social interaction, while also creating a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere. For those who preferred to listen rather than actively answer, simply being part of the group, enjoying the chatter and humour, was just as meaningful.๐โ๏ธ
The room was filled with smiles, encouragement, and that unmistakable feeling of togetherness. Snow outside or not, the warmth inside Rubislaw Park was undeniable, proving once again that when plans change, joy doesnโt have to.โ๏ธ๐
