We are the largest and most active society of Aberdeen University, with an exciting and diverse mix of nights out combined with some amazing trips that produce memories which you will remember for years to come. We organise trips and social events for all years in the law school including:

Our Amsterdam trip is fast approaching and we have organised a meeting to go over all important information and answer any questions about the trip ✨

Attendance at the meeting is MANDATORY for everyone attending the trip ⚖️

The meeting will be held online via teams/zoom and all trip participants will be sent a link before the meeting is due to commence 🌟

💡ESSAY AND EXAM PREP TIPS💡

Join us for a tips and tricks lecture and Q&A session on Friday the 6th of March! 🗣️

We know how difficult it can be to understand new writing styles, especially when you first move to university and you are trying to adjust. ✨

Luckily, our first year reps have organised this event to help clear up any gaps and to give you the opportunity to ask a lecturer questions! ⚖️

Get tips on how to structure your essays or how to prep for exams by asking questions. We hope to see you all there! ⭐️

We have extended our annual DPLP Ball this year to celebrate all postgraduate students and tickets are now live! Join us at the Sandman Hotel on April 4th for a 2 course meal and ceilidh to celebrate the end of the Diploma as well as other Postgraduate courses ✨

Tickets are available from the link in our bio.
Tickets are £50 for members and £55 for non members. Members can use code ‘AULS26’ to get £5 off their ticket. We will be checking only members have used the code to purchase their ticket 🥂

The event will be formal attire, you are able to fill out dietary requirements upon purchasing the ticket. A link to select seating arrangements will be released closer to the date 🌟

Anyone who already purchased DPLP ball tickets have automatically had their ticket transferred over. If you no longer want to attend due to the change please get in touch ⚖️

It’s that time of year again where you can buy Aberdeen University Law Society merch- and this semester we have even more to offer! 🌟

The two biggest societies are coming together for the biggest social of the year…

🧑‍⚖️Suits v Scrubs🧑‍⚕️

Think family ties.. but there’s no parents and no kids, instead, it’s all medics v all lawyers!

Due to overwhelming demand, please make sure to sign up via the google form 🌟

We will be dividing into groups (law v med) and going head to head in challenges at each pub 🍻

The event will be buy your own drink, you will be directed to order certain things if you wish to participate in challenges, however there is the option to not drink if you wish to come along sober ✨

The dress code is scrubs for med students, and court attire for law students (but feel free to put your own spin on it) 🔥

Sign ups will close on Sunday the 15th of February at 11.59pm. All groups will then be entered into separate what’s app chats with their head lawyer/medic to find out where your group will be starting. The chat can then be used for communication before and throughout the night 🥂
