The service is holistic combining injectables like botulinum-based wrinkle treatments (prescription-only), a range of dermal filler procedures, and a simple yet powerful 4-step skincare approach.

Directors & Practitioners
Dr. Hassan Abbas [MBChB, BSc(Hons), MRCP] has practiced Medicine since 2010, Cardiology since 2014 and is currently conducting a PhD. Being very enthusiastic about teaching and training, he has experience delivering this at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, in academic and NHS clinical settings.
Dr. Abbas trained in botulinum toxin injection and dermal fillers after developing an interest in Medical Aesthetics, then set up Hourglass Aesthetics Ltd in 2017, as Director and Aesthetic Practitioner. His vision for Hourglass Aesthetics is to progressively diversify its services, developing a clinic reputable for safe practice and high quality treatments. He is a member of the Aesthetics Complications Expert (ACE) Group and has full indemnity cover by Cosmetic Insure (London). GMC # 7077643. Realising a void for high quality aesthetics training in the North East of Scotland, he launched Hourglass Aesthetics’ training arm in 2019, deploying an accredited botulinum course, dermal filler course and a series of professional services to directly influence practice standards. Dr. Abbas is Save Face accredited.
