🎶 🌳 In our music therapy sessions, we use a range of resources to ensure activities are engaging and tailored to each client’s needs.
One resource Nadine has used with her clients is the book Wild Symphony, which introduces a variety of animals, each representing a different instrument from the orchestral family. The book is supported by an accompanying app that plays a different orchestral piece for each animal and instrument. This creates a multi-sensory experience by combining storytelling, visuals, and music, helping clients explore and recognise different orchestral sounds.
Using resources such as this supports engagement, encourages active listening, and allows clients to interact with music in a creative and accessible way. 🐭🐘🦛
