Join Gareth Rees for a truly enchanting experience: Traditional Welsh folk music, beautifully arranged for solo guitar, performed live in an enchanting countryside setting — with our friendly herd of alpacas as your curious listening companions.

Gareth hails from a small village in the Brecon Beacons. Growing up in such a beautiful part of the world has resulted in a strong connection to the land that resonates through his arrangements of Welsh traditional melodies for fingerstyle guitar.

Drawing influence from the likes of Tony McManus, Pierre Bensusan and Ben Walker, his mesmerising arrangements aim to weave a hazy picture of Welsh landscapes and legends. His 4 part EP series exploring the seasons through Welsh traditional music is a clear demonstration of this.

You can listen to his latest single, an arrangement of the Welsh song Beth Yw’r Haf I Mi, on all streaming platforms.

To hear him play live in the rolling Monmouthshire countryside, surrounded by our gentle alpacas, promises to be a uniquely soul enriching experience.
