"When are you going to get your body back?"

I hate this question.

Because here's the truth nobody wants to say:

You don't need to "get your body back."

Your body didn't go anywhere. It's right here. It's just *different* now.

It grew a human. It birthed that human. It's feeding that human or recovering from trying to.

It's healing from the inside out — not just your abs, but your pelvic floor, your hormones, your nervous system, your *brain.*

"Getting your body back" implies your body is wrong. That you need to erase evidence of what you've been through.

But what if instead of getting back...

You learned how to **move forward**?

What if you understood what your body actually needs right now — not to look a certain way, but to *heal* from one of the most intense physical events a human can experience?

What if you built strength that supports your new life, not just fits your old jeans?

Here's what I help my clients do:

I've been talking to the mums in my Recover from Birth postnatal yoga group recently and realised they need a class they can graduate to, where they continue with their postnatal yoga but without their babies.

Not the gym. Not a home workout with toddlers climbing over you.
Just 75 mins of quiet time where they can continue with movement, breathwork and continue exploring who they are now they've become a mother and build a community at the same time.

So I’ve started a small Saturday morning & Tuesday evening yoga class at Glangrwyney Village Hall for mums who want to rebuild strength and calm — from the inside out.
No pressure, no perfection, just real mums taking back a little space for themselves.

🌸 Prepare for Birth Workshop is coming up on Sunday 16th November and this is also available to book. You can come with or without your birth partner. You'll learn biomechanics for birth, rebozo and yoga tools for birth.
