"When are you going to get your body back?"
I hate this question.
Because here's the truth nobody wants to say:
You don't need to "get your body back."
Your body didn't go anywhere. It's right here. It's just *different* now.
It grew a human. It birthed that human. It's feeding that human or recovering from trying to.
It's healing from the inside out — not just your abs, but your pelvic floor, your hormones, your nervous system, your *brain.*
"Getting your body back" implies your body is wrong. That you need to erase evidence of what you've been through.
But what if instead of getting back...
You learned how to **move forward**?
What if you understood what your body actually needs right now — not to look a certain way, but to *heal* from one of the most intense physical events a human can experience?
What if you built strength that supports your new life, not just fits your old jeans?
