The biggest thing for alot of people is literally just starting. That's it. The hardest bit is reaching out to someone. Once that's done it's so simple there after.

The issue is I see alot of is someone will message me and say blah blah I want to start this date or when I get paid. Radio silence for a while. And during that time you've made zero progress and gained abit more weight.

Story from lockdown. Someone came to me saying they wanted to lose about 3 stone, get healthier, better understanding of nutrition and all that. We put a date in place when to pay and start. Again didn't hear from them. 3 months later same person messages apologising as wasn't ready ect. This Time round they said they wanted to lose 4 stone due to gaining another stone during the 12 weeks between messages. Me being upfront as usual said if you had started when you first messaged me we would of already been 2 stone down and not far off your goal weight. Now you've jidt made things alot harder

Take home from this is, if you've addressed you need to lose weight. Start ASAP and done leave it go to long

1st of February and already my gym is back to exactly how it was before Christmas. Quiet. The regulars and the January rush all finished.

If you have already given up and cancelled your membership because "It's not for me" (well sadly nor is being fat if we're totally going to be truthful but you're happy to stay as you are).

You've given in due to setting yourself up for failure and setting an unrealistic target straight off the bat.

You've cut your calories probably in half or tried a silly diet (carnivore, slimming world, Herbalife, low carbs ect) these will work for a small percentage but not for the majority.

You've tried making yourself go to the gym or some form of exercise 5+ days a week. And yet again this will work for a small percentage but for majority this will be way to much to soon.

Pair both above and you've gotta yourself a ticking time bomb in how long will you last before you've over done it. To much to soon.

I will never ask you to over do it nor ask you to killself in order yo get there. Slow and steady. Getting the maximum from the minimum before we make changes.

😭 The gym lasted 3 weeks most? Yes because again you don't enjoy it which means it turns into a chore which then goes from 3/4 times a week to 2 times a week to ahhh I'll start again next month. Find something you enjoy. Simple.

I am back, why?

Because I am sick to death of seeing "coaches" give regular Joe & Josephine's from down the road their own bodybuilding diet plans. Eating the same 4 or 5 meals a day. All whilst not teaching them a single thing about calories nor teaching them what to do when the end of the 12/16/20 week plan ends.

I've spoken to sooo many people who have zero clue how many calories they're eating nor how to maintain their fat lose once going alone. Meaning they will gain all their weight back once going alone because all they know is eating cream of rice. No carbs and chicken and rice. My plans have taught people the understanding of calories and how to manage it once they finish with me. Eating food you'd think is bad for you but understand how many calories are in each bite meaning you can still eat those things but in moderation. My plans are lifestyle changes. Not diet plans.

With over 60 choices on my "diet plans" which has taken me years to perfect puts me head and shoulders above most as you can read here. You can still eat your toast, cereal or breakfast rolls for breakfast, why? Because I've done all the work for you and will teach you the ways to enjoying the foods you like. And I'll also teach you how to track calories yourself so you won't need me forever

πŸ’₯ Please find the form of exercise you enjoy and I bet my house you will stick to your fitness goals alot longer than doing something you've seen online because people tell you "it burns more calories"

🚫 Seen and spoke to alot of people who for 2 to 3 weeks you'll see out running or running on the treadmill and all of a sudden not see them again and they then tell you "ahhh I hated running but wanted to burn more calories". Walking flat for 1 hour everyday will burn alot more calories than running for 30 minutes 3 times a week and it won't be taxing on your body.

πŸ”₯ I will always say lifting weights long term will improve not only your strength or body shape, but it will also increase the amount of calories you can eat daily. Which let's be honest, who doesn't want to eat alot of calories to maintain their weight?

πŸ’™ But I also understand lifting weights isn't for everyone so if you like running, run. If you like walking then walk (alot). If you like lifting weights, lift weights (heavy, relative to you).

πŸ‘ I'll use myself as an example, now i dont have tonnes of muscle mass but if you compared a person who is also 180lbs ish in weight, doesn't go to the gym or doesnt do the 20k steps a day or have a physical job that i have then i can assure you he wouldn't be able to eat what i do and not gain weight

🚫 I've had some clients who weigh the same as me but don't carry the tissue have and therefore require less calories. Some will have to drop calories to as low as 1500 in order to lose some weight where as over the years I've taken calories down low and built back up to where they are today. My maintenance these days are around 3000/3200 so when you see me saying alot of food that's only where my body needs to be to keep my weight up πŸ‘ŒπŸ»
