Caring Companions are looking for Care Assistants to work between 7am – 10pm, with split shifts or full day shifts available 7 days a week plus night shifts.
You will have contracted hours from 16 hours +
Areas covered,
Llantwit Major, Cowbridge, Ogmore-by-Sea, Southerndown, Bridgend and surrounding areas.
As a Care Assistant, you will:
• Provide Companionship
• Help with personal care
• Help with mobility around the home
• Oversee medication
• Help with chores such as cleaning and vacuuming
• Prepare and cook meals
• Run errands such as food shopping or picking up prescriptions.
All we need from you is a full UK driving license with access to your own car and the desire to care for others, we can teach you the rest. Working as a Care Assistant isn’t always the easiest job, but it will be one of the most rewarding.
If you have any previous experience of working in a residential home or home care, we are particularly interested in hearing from you.
No experience, No problem. If you communicate well with others, bring a positive attitude to work, and want to make things better for people in need of our care, we can offer you training and support to fulfil the role.
You will also receive from us:
• Full time/Part Time hours. Days and Nights.
• Full time hourly rates paid at £12.50 per hour.
• Mileage between calls paid at 45p per mile.
• Company uniform and PPE provided.
• Occupational pension scheme
• 28 days paid annual leave. (pro rata for part time employees)
• Competitive hourly rates.
