✨Update on Accessing Pharmacist Services From Next Week (W/C 18/08/2025)✨

With more people than ever using our NHS, private and prescribing services, we’re introducing set drop-in clinic hours to make your visit smoother and more efficient.

🕒 Drop-In Clinic Hours (No appointment required)

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
10:00 am – 12:00 pm
2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Thursday: Appointments encouraged

📅 Outside of these hours, booking an appointment (by phone or online using our new booking portal - see below) means we can prepare for your visit and keep waiting times low.

If you drop in at other times, we’ll still do our best to see you — you may just be asked to wait or return later depending on priority and availability.

This new system helps us:
✅ Reduce queues and waiting times
✅ Ensure enough time for every patient
✅ Keep your experience smooth

📞 Phone Line Issues Ongoing 📞

We are still having issues with our phone line. This is in BTs hands and is being treated as a critial issue. It is ringing at the callers end but not ours.

We have set up a pharmacy mobile phone for use in the mean time. Its number is 07545069895. You can also email on pharm.aberlour4093@nhs.scot. Email is preferred for prescription requests please to keep phone line as free as possible.

We are still having issues with our phone lines. We are terribly sorry for this. We have been told they are looking into this with critial importance.

We are open as usual today (Monday 14th July), but we are experiencing some issues with our phones due to a fault in the line. This will be fixed as soon as possible, one phone line is still functioning but customers may experience issues when phoning the pharmacy today.

Is hayfever symptoms putting a dampner on enjoying this lovely weather? ☀️ Pop instore for advice and a wide selection of treatments for all symptoms including tablets, nasal sprays and eye drops.

Pharmacies are able to supply a wide range of treatments from pharmacy medications and prescription only medications for the whole family 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 without the need for a GP visit.

Some tips to stay in control:
🌺 Keep windows closed to stop pollen coming in and settling on beds and surfaces in the home
🌸 dont rub eyes, this pushes the allergens further in the eye, try and brush/rinse the eye area instead
🌼most hayfever medications work best when taken daily over the summer months rather than waiting for symptoms to appear then treating
🪻use soft tissues to save chapped and raw noses
🌹 you may need more than one product to adequately control your hayfever
😎 wear sunglasses when out to protect eyes and limit exposure
💨 check the pollen levels on weather forecasts and arm yourself accordingly
💊 check the active ingredient in your hayfever tablet. Many medications contain the same ingredient so its a waste of money trying another brand of tablets if they arnt working for you. Check for ingredient names such as Cetirizine, Loratadine, Fexofenadine, Chlorphenamine and Acrivstine. Swap these instead of trying a different brand of the same drug.
