Just a reminder that we are open as usual today (Friday 3rd April) and tomorrow (Saturday 4th of April 9am - 1pm)

We will be closed on Easter Monday (Monday 6th April) and reopen as normal on Tuesday 7th of April.

💊 We’re Hiring! – Pharmacy Dispenser (4 Days per Week 9am - 6pm and occasional Saturday 9am - 1pm) 💊

📍 Aberlour Pharmacy

Aberlour Pharmacy is looking for a motivated and reliable Dispenser to join our friendly team, working 4 days per week, primarily within our expanding Care Home department.

We are ideally looking for someone who is a qualified dispenser with previous experience who can step confidently into the role.

The Role:
-Dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
-Supporting and managing workload within our Care Home service
-Maintaining high standards of organisation and accuracy

What We’re Looking For:
-Previous dispensing experience (Preferred - NVQ Level 2 or equivalent)
-Excellent attention to detail
-Ability to manage workload in a busy environment
-Comfortable with computers and learning our new eMAR system
-Excellent communication skills
-A positive, team-focused attitude

Monday 5th ❄️
Unsurprisingly the weather will affect operations this week. Our deliveries into the pharmacy and deliveries to patients will be disrupted and we will have reduced staff as its not safe for some to come to work.

**FLU VACCINES**

Unfortunately due to the huge recent demand for flu vaccines we no longer have any stock available at this time.

There is no stock available with any of our suppliers and so unfortunately cannot provide a date for when we will get more into the pharmacy.

We are checking in every day with our suppliers to see when we will be able to get more stock and will update our page as soon as we have an update.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

We will be delivering as many prescriptions as possible today, but due to driver shortage there will still be fewer deliveries possible than normal.

We ask again where possible if prescriptions could be collected from the pharmacy today 🙏

Prescriptions we are unable to deliver today will be sent out as soon as possible at the start of next week.

Due to the current weather conditions and delivery driver absence we will be unable to deliver any prescriptions today.
