DITCH THE DIET (and still lose weight) MASTERCLASS - 27TH APRIL

If you're struggling to lose weight, even after attempting a number of different diets, it could be that you just haven't tackled the underlying reason for your weight gain, and until you do, no amount of dieting or depriving yourself will be effective in helping you lose those pounds.

As a nutritional therapist, my goal is always to pinpoint the root cause of any my clientโ€™s health concerns, including weight gain, and often when they address those issues, they really begin to notice significant improvements.

For a lot of women, various issues like hormonal imbalances (common during menopause), stress, inflammation, and emotions can all play a role in weight gain. Once you begin tackling those, you can really kickstart your body's weight loss journey.

My upcoming masterclass 'Ditch the Diet Drama (and still lose weight)' on Saturday the 27th April, wonโ€™t be like your average weight loss approach, and you might be surprised at some of my advice - including eating MORE to lose weight, and including enough fat (of the healthy kind).

Over the course of two hours, I will guide you through the most common causes of weight gain, and what you can do to make positive changes, how you can foster a healthier relationship with ALL food, mindful eating exercises, stress reduction techniques, and Iโ€™ll also teach you how to use EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) to help you overcome issues such as comfort eating and poor body image.

This testimonial from a lovely client really made my wee heart sing!

When a client leaves a session reassured that food shouldnโ€™t be viewed as 'good' or 'bad' - or even worse a 'sin' - but rather as a source of joy and nourishment, then my mission really is complete!

Of course, some foods pack a bigger nutritional punch than others, but a life without your favourite foods is doomed to failure, as itโ€™s simply not sustainable. Itโ€™s really all about balance.

My favourite quote ever, is that โ€˜healthy eating should be 90% for your body, and 10% for your soulโ€™.

While I encourage clients not to obsess over weight loss - or make that their main goal - most end up shedding some pounds just by making a few simple changes to their diet and lifestyle, and embracing a healthier relationship with food and their fabulous bodies.

In fact, theyโ€™re often surprised when I advise them to eat more in their day - including a steady supply of fats - of the healthy kind - such as: nuts, seeds, avocados, butter and dark chocolate.
