The Story of Strength

Sometimes life changes in a second…
Just over a year ago, one of my regular clients a strong, independent woman who loved travelling was bitten by a mosquito while on holiday.
What first looked like a small red mark turned into a severe infection.
The doctors couldn’t save her leg, and she had to undergo amputation.
But she never gave up.
She’s been fighting bravely ever since attending regular rehabilitation sessions, learning to walk again, and recently received her first prosthetic leg at home.
Her determination and positive attitude are truly inspiring.
Every journey with her reminds me that strength isn’t about what we can do it’s about never giving up, no matter what life brings.
At Leaf Mobility, we’re proud to support incredible people like her on their way back to independence and everyday life.

Every time I drive her, I’m reminded that strength doesn’t come from what we can do, but from how we handle what we can’t. 💚

For me, that’s what Leaf Mobility is really about helping people keep moving, keep living, and keep smiling, no matter what life brings.

I’d love to, but my van’s not a rollercoaster! 🎢

Nice try! But I only do one passenger at a time 😄

Nope! I also drive chatty neighbours, tired nurses, and the occasional dog that thinks it’s in charge 🐶

💚 Why Leaf Mobility Exists

Last week I had the privilege of assisting a family in making something truly special happen.

Their grandmother, Pat, who has limited mobility and is bravely fighting illness, had one simple wish to visit her grandson’s boxing academy in Didcot, a place he owns and is deeply proud of.

It wasn’t easy to fit everything into the schedule, but together we made it work. I collected her from hospital and took her safely to the gym, where her family was waiting to surprise her.

It was her first time seeing the academy in person a moment full of pride, love and emotion that meant a lot to everyone there.

Stories like this remind me exactly why Leaf Mobility exists:
to help people stay connected, to make life’s important moments possible, and to show that accessibility is about much more than just transport.
