🕊️ A moment of honour and compassion

At Leaf Mobility, not every journey is a happy one.

Today, we had the honour of supporting Peter on one of the most difficult journeys of his life travelling to say a final goodbye to his beloved wife.

We would like to extend our deepest condolences to Peter and the entire family during this heartbreaking time. Our thoughts are with you all.

At Leaf Mobility, we believe that accessible transport is not only about getting from A to B.
It is about being there when people need support the most in moments of joy, but also in moments of loss.

🔦 Road Safety Reminder for Wheelchair Users & Drivers

As the days get shorter and it gets dark much earlier, I just want to share a quick safety reminder especially for wheelchair users and anyone supporting them.

When moving around after dark, please try to make sure that wheelchairs, mobility scooters or walking aids are clearly visible.
A small light, reflective band or high-visibility accessory can make a huge difference on paths, crossings and car parks.

To all drivers:
Please take extra care at this time of year.
Slow down near crossings, bus stops, care homes and areas with limited visibility and pay special attention to anyone with reduced mobility.

A moment of patience and awareness can prevent an accident and protect someone who may need a little more time to move safely.

The Story of Strength

Sometimes life changes in a second…
Just over a year ago, one of my regular clients a strong, independent woman who loved travelling was bitten by a mosquito while on holiday.
What first looked like a small red mark turned into a severe infection.
The doctors couldn’t save her leg, and she had to undergo amputation.
But she never gave up.
She’s been fighting bravely ever since attending regular rehabilitation sessions, learning to walk again, and recently received her first prosthetic leg at home.
Her determination and positive attitude are truly inspiring.
Every journey with her reminds me that strength isn’t about what we can do it’s about never giving up, no matter what life brings.
At Leaf Mobility, we’re proud to support incredible people like her on their way back to independence and everyday life.

Every time I drive her, I’m reminded that strength doesn’t come from what we can do, but from how we handle what we can’t. 💚

For me, that’s what Leaf Mobility is really about helping people keep moving, keep living, and keep smiling, no matter what life brings.
