Chiropractic is a non surgical, drug-free approach to increasing function within your the body, resulting in increased health and wellbeing

The body is controlled by the nervous system, the nerves that exit at each level of the spine have very specific jobs, they control a range of functions, including skin sensation, organ function and muscle tone and strength. When there is a dysfunction/loss of motion which can be caused by trauma e.g. bumps, falls, surgery etc then the nervous system is usually affected, which can then result in an inability to heal correctly. Symptoms usually indicates there is a dysfunction of the nervous system, see some of them below:

Humans:

- Headaches
- Back pain
- Sciatica
- Poor posture
- Inability to relax
- Sports injuries
- Neck pain

Dogs:

- 'Puppy sitting'/altered sitting
- Discomfort when being touched or moving
- Hesitancy when climbing stairs or jumping
- Difficulty when getting up after lying down
- Favouring to lie on one side more than the other
- Change in behaviour
- Change in gait or lameness
- Licking or chewing paws
- Decrease in performance

Horses:

- Resistance to being mounted/ridden
- Altered performance
- Pain or stiffness when being touched or moved
- Lameness, altered gait or shortened stride
- Resistance to picking up feet
- Changes in posture
- Bucking or rearing
- Difficulty or inability to taking a lead
- Pinning ears back, biting or snapping
- Difficulty flexing at poll

Chiropractors use adjustments, which is the application of a very precise force to a specific area to correct dysfunction/loss of motion within a joint, resulting in normal nerve transmission, which allows the body to heal correctly.

We’ve just had our quarterly meeting, which rounded the year off beautifully and gave us the chance to make plans together as a team for 2026. Sitting there, I was struck by just how phenomenal this team is and how lucky we are, so I thought I’d write a little something to share.

Sharing this from our Christmas dinner today, even though we were unfortunately missing Elle, Aman, and Luke, you were very much felt and thought of.

To our incredible team, thank you. Dr Anis, Dr Deni, Dr Luke, Mary, Soham, and our absolute superstar front desk ladies Elle, Aman, and Beth. We truly have a fantastic team. Every single team member is phenomenal, and the teamwork that is shown day in, day out is amazing. Your commitment, care, consistency, and heart do not go unnoticed. The standard you hold yourselves to every single day is what makes this place what it is. Showing up for our clients, supporting each other, and doing the work properly even when no one is watching is something I’m deeply proud of.

And to our clients, thank you for trusting us. Thank you for your support, and for allowing us to be part of your health journey. It’s genuinely an honour looking after you, and we never take that responsibility lightly.

We are incredibly grateful to do the work we do, with the people we do it with, for a community that believes in us.

Enzos been coming in for wellness checks on his spine, similarly to how you go to the dentist to get your teeth checked. Funny thing is you can replace your teeth but not your nervous system, but we tend to get our teeth checked more. We make sure that all those knocks and bumps that are part of growing up are processed through his body and not held as trauma.

His mum started care with me pre pregnancy too to get her body ready. It’s so nice seeing clients through important parts of there lives ❤️😊

🌟 Star is truly living up to her name!

Since starting her chiropractic care, she’s been blossoming into her bright, happy self again, and it’s an absolute joy having her in the clinic.

These days, Star has a little ritual: find the perfect chair in reception, curl up, and make herself completely at home while we chat. 🐾💺

We love seeing her thrive and watching her confidence (and comfort!) shine through. Here’s to many more visits, Star, you’re part of the family now. 💚✨

On Friday the Results Align Chiropractic crew traded our adjusting tables for a giant paddleboard adventure, and let’s just say, balance isn’t just for spines! 😂

It was a beautiful sunny day, perfect for getting out on the water together. We laughed, we paddled, and yes… we all ended up in the water thanks to a few troublemakers who couldn’t resist rocking the board (you know who you are 👀😉).

Nothing like a little fun, sun, and teamwork ❤️

Grateful for this amazing team, both on and off the water!

👐🐶✨ Chiropractic care: not just for humans! ✨🧍‍♀️🐾

One of the best parts of my job is that I never know who I’ll be adjusting next — a busy parent, an energetic kid, or even their playful pup!

It always makes me smile when someone comes in for an adjustment and ends up booking one for their furry family member too. Because good movement, good alignment, and a healthy nervous system help every body feel and function better — no matter how many legs you have!

I truly love what I do — the variety, the people, the pets, and the moments of connection that come with it. Thank you for trusting me to keep your whole family moving well!

Hi everyone! Dr. Lou here — I just got back from a little weekend adventure in Scotland. What started as a getaway turned into pure animal therapy: I ended up surrounded by 7 dogs, got to cuddle a sweet goat, and spent some much-needed time catching up with close friends in the fresh Scottish air.

It was the perfect reminder that good health isn’t just about adjustments and exercise — it’s about connection, nature, and letting animals remind us to slow down and enjoy the moment. 🧘🏾‍♀️💚

Spending time outdoors, laughing with friends, and sharing cuddles with animals can do wonders for your nervous system, your mood, and your overall well-being.

I hope you find a chance this week to unplug, get outside, or hug your favorite furry friend — your spine (and your soul) will thank you!

Those of you that know me know I love dogs.. getting out walking this time of year is sooo important. We have a huge lack of vitamin D in the UK this time of year which lowers your immunity. That’s why we call it flu season. Flu is around all year it’s just our bodies are not great at processing when we’ve got low vitamin D and then we express it with symptoms 🤧 get on the vitamin D!

On another note I’m super excited about Christmas, again for those that know me know I love everything sparkles and pretty lights ✨

I hope you’re excited. Enjoy the simple things ❤️
