TrustonTap - Quality Care at Home

TrustonTap - Quality Care at Home TrustonTap supports families with experienced/qualified carers - hourly, overnight and live-in care Better quality home care starts with the right person.

At TrustonTap, we introduce you to experienced, fully-vetted carers in your area so your loved one can live well at home. Every carer is DBS-checked, reference-checked and individually interviewed—we only take on a small proportion of applicants to keep standards high. You choose who feels right and enjoy minimum 1-hour visits for unhurried support and real connection. From personal care and companionship to dementia support and post-hospital help, we’ll tailor care around your family’s routine and priorities. Our friendly team is on hand from the first conversation to ongoing support, keeping things clear and easy. We’re proud of our 1,000 plus reviews and the trust families place in us every day. What makes us different:

* Experienced carers from £20-£30 per hour

* Minimum 1-hour visits: quality time, not clock-watching.

* Local and consistent: build a relationship with someone you (and your loved one) really know. Straightforward from the start: simple matching and ongoing support from our team. https://www.trustontap.com

Caring is tough — you deserve a breather.
When was the last time you took a real break? There's help available to get you back on track.

A short break could give you the time, space, and energy to feel like yourself again. It can also be beneficial for your loved one.
• A break can give you the time and space to look after your own health.
• Spending quality time with friends or family may improve well-being and reduce feelings of isolation.
• Breaks can give you some space to think about how to juggle your work-life and caring responsibilities.
• They can help improve your relationships, in particular with the person who you care for.
• Taking a break also means that the person you are looking after may enjoy a change of routine or new experiences.

The conversation we all find difficult to have.

When you notice changes in behaviour, suggesting they might need support is a difficult step to take. We understand because we've been there too.

What families like yours often tell us:
• Preserving independence - How do you suggest help without making them feel they're losing control?
• Finding the right moment - When is it time to have "the talk" about additional support?
• Distance and demands - Balancing your own family, work, and their increasing needs.
• Fear of strangers - Will they truly care?

At TrustonTap, we don't just provide care services – we help families navigate these delicate transitions.
• Care that begins with relationships first – the same trusted faces every time.
• Support that preserves independence rather than removing it.
• Flexible options that grow naturally with changing needs.

When you're ready to revisit the conversation, we're here.

✅FULLY VETTED CARERS ✅
We carefully screen and interview all our trusted carers via a multi-stage recruitment process to ensure that all our carers are competent, compassionate, kind, honest and reliable.
Everyone is fully-vetted and DBS background checked.
Plus, we obtain two references on all carers that we take on, to ensure the good character of the people who will be supporting you.
We also conduct thorough individual interviews.
Over the last 3 years, we have taken on less than 5% of carers that have applied to us.
We only list those individuals who we would be happy to recommend to our own relatives.

Caring for someone with dementia can be challenging.

It is important to help the person maintain their skills and abilities as much as they can.

Encouraging fond and happy memories, keeping a hand in familiar hobbies and helping them maintain a social life can improve their quality of life.

But if you feel that some external care could help, then we can find a carer that can offer some relief and companionship.

Exercise is one of the most important activities to maintain independence in older adults.
Despite this, becoming more sedentary with age is often the reality.
Staying fit and healthy for as long as possible helps improve happiness and quality of life.

A carer is a wonderful source of companionship and emotional support. Depending on your care needs, a carer can be arranged to pop in as needed or you can benefit from a dedicated carer who lives with you in your home, offering a helping hand at a moment’s notice.

Whether you need companionship or personal care in the comfort and safety of your own home, TrustonTap will create a care plan to suit your needs. Creating the care plan is more than just listing the things to do. We must make sure that we consider people’s capacity and ability to consent and do everything reasonably practicable to make sure that people who use the service receive person-centred care and treatment that is appropriate, meets their needs and reflects their personal preferences, whatever they might be.
