Another year, another audit passed with flying colours 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

We’re proud to share that we have once again successfully passed our annual External Quality Assurance audit for the training we provide.

Our centre remains fully compliant across all areas, with verified evidence of high training standards, strong processes, and no complaints received.

This reflects the consistency, professionalism, and commitment of our team to delivering safe, high-quality care and training for Health and Social Care in Oxfordshire.

We don’t just meet standards, we maintain them year after year.

Today’s training session!

We covered the application of creams to the largest organ of our body. You may think that training staff in applying creams to skin is like teaching a duck to suck eggs, but the truth is that there is far more to it than people realise.

We covered:
•Products and their benefits
•Hazards and precautions
•Allergic reactions and procedures
•Hygiene and infection control
•The finger tip unit (FTU)
•A variety of skin conditions
•Staff sign off to apply steroids
•Documentation and reporting

It’s always a good reminder that great results don’t come from guesswork, they come from knowledge, consistency, and using the right products for the right reasons.

Today we celebrate the mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures who shape our lives with strength, patience, and love.

At Care with Dignity, we are privileged to support many incredible women who have spent their lives caring for others. Motherhood doesn’t stop with age. The wisdom, resilience, and stories they carry continue to inspire us every day.

This Mother’s Day, we honour every mother and the legacy of care they create.

From all of us at Care with Dignity, we wish you a day filled with appreciation, warmth, and love. 💐

Epilepsy Rescue Medication training today, focusing on the safe administration of Buccal midazolam.

We covered:
• Different types of seizures
• Recognising prolonged seizures and when rescue medication is required
• Causes and triggers
• Correct dosing and administration of Buccal midazolam
• Benefits and side effects of Buccal midazolam
• Monitoring and aftercare following a seizure
• When to escalate and seek emergency support
• The importance of following individual epilepsy care plans
• SUDEP

Staff need to be signed off and deemed competent to administer emergency medication and these sessions are so important for building confidence in staff and ensuring people with epilepsy receive safe, timely support during a seizure.

And of course, training is always better with a few hot crumpets and pastries to keep everyone going when you deliver training first thing.
