Care with Dignity officially received the invitation to the Oxfordshire care awards today.

We will be paying for an additional 8 guests from our team to join us at this special event celebrating the exceptional care provided throughout the county.

Keeping everything crossed for our team that they leave with an award but just to be there and be recognised is an achievement we are proud of. If nothing else it will be a lovely night out for our team and nice for us to all be together, celebrating the rewarding role we play in our community every day 🥰

Ensuring our support workers have the knowledge and confidence to safely administer anticoagulation medication and support our service users with dignity and care.

We covered:

•What anticoagulant medication is
•Why it is prescribed
•Safe administration
•The ATR (pink form)
•The antidote to warfarin
•Interactions and diet
•Side effects and signs of overdose
