Prepare for Flu Season – Schedule Your Vaccination Today!

Flu season is on the way, and we’re here to help you stay protected. Our annual flu clinics are starting soon:

From 18th September: Vaccinations for pregnant women.

From 3rd October: Vaccinations for those over 65 and individuals under 65 with underlying health conditions.

We offer a variety of pre-bookable appointments for your convenience. You can easily book by contacting Reception or online through Patchs.

Drop-In Flu Clinics – No Appointment Needed

If you prefer flexibility, our drop-in clinics allow you to get vaccinated without an appointment. Simply stop by the surgery on any of the following dates:
Wednesday, 9th October
Thursday, 17th October
Monday, 21st October
Thursday, 31st October
These clinics will run from 9:00am to 12:30pm and 1:00pm to 5:00pm.

Saturday Flu Clinics for Added Convenience

To accommodate your schedule, we’re offering Saturday flu clinics on 12th October and 26th October. Appointments are available from 9:15am to 1:30pm. Book your slot today by contacting Reception or online via Patchs.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the contract for Dr Joseph to run primary care services at Dill Hall Surgery has come to an end. The service will be delivered by the East Lancashire Alliance for an initial nine-month period, with an option to extend for three months. The East Lancashire Alliance is an alliance of GP practices covering 47 practices and a population of 390,000 patients across East Lancashire.

Dear Patients of Dr Joseph,
Due to unavoidable circumstances, Dr Joseph will not be available at Dill Hall Surgery, 6-8 Church Street, Accrington for the foreseeable future.
We would like to reassure staff and patients that our priority is to ensure that patients continue to have access to safe, high-quality services.
We are working to provide further information and advice for patients and can confirm that appropriate medical cover is in place at the surgery.
If you require an appointment or have any queries relating to your care and support, please contact the surgery as normal.

Dear Patients of Dr Joseph,

‼️All GP Practices in Pennine Lancashire have been granted protected learning time and will therefore be CLOSED, Thursday 9th November from 1:00pm until 6:30pm, re-opening at 8:00am on Friday 10th November ‼️
📞We will be closing our telephone lines and will be using this protected time to provide dedicated training to our reception team, plan ways that will help us improve our services, meet demand, and support the wellbeing of our staff.
👩‍⚕️If you have a pre-booked appointment with our Practice Nurse – this will not change. Please arrive at your appointment time and take a seat in the waiting room.
🏥Our doors will be closed. Please do not attend the practice unless you have a prebooked appointment with the Practice Nurse. If you choose to attend, please be aware that you will be redirected to 111 or local Pharmacy services for any same-day treatment.
🚨If you require life-threatening treatment during this time, please ring 999.
📱For any other medical concern that cannot wait until we re-open at 8am on Friday 10th November, please ring 111.
👍For all routine requests, appointments, prescriptions, and general queries please ring the practice from 8am on Friday 10th November.
