Jennifer Glover – MindLight Wellness

Integrative counsellor Holistic Therapist & Reiki Practitioner

My healing journey began over thirteen years ago when I was introduced to Reiki—a moment that transformed my path and inspired me to become a practitioner myself. I am now a qualified Level 2 Usui Reiki practitioner and working toward my Master level.

Alongside Reiki, I have trained in a variety of therapeutic methods of psychotherapy and will soon be a qualified Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) practitioner. I also bring four years of experience working within mental health services, supporting individuals with a wide range of challenges.

I work with trauma, complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety, confidence issues, pain management, abuse, and more. My approach is holistic, compassionate, and centred around your unique journey.

My intention is to walk beside you as you reconnect with your strength, resilience, and inner light.

Tracey, our play therapist has some availability for Thursdays.

Tracy works with children aged 3-12 years.

Play therapy is a valuable approach that helps children explore and express their feelings as they navigate their life experiences. Many children find it challenging to articulate their thoughts and emotions, which is where play therapy shines. It allows them to communicate in alternate ways, utilising the natural process of play to foster understanding and healing. This therapeutic method creates a safe space for children to make sense of their world.

This is the largest of the therapy rooms.

It has a really warm, natural feel with plants and warm lighting. Many of our clients love the comfy these chairs are too!

We offer an array of sessions in here, individual therapy, children & young people therapy,family support, and groups.

This is where our 'therapy fish' can be found 🩵

This room is usually used for Counselling or Hypnotherapy.

From this room we have a lovely view of the coppice, where it has been known to see many rainbows 🌈

Also at Accrington Therapy Centre we have Michelle.

Michelle founded Snowdrop Doula CIC in 2011 to help prevent mental illness in new mums. Snowdrop now provides many services to help.

Michelle is running psychotherapy sessions and antenatal classes from the centre. As well as running Snowdrop she is studying her Doctorate specialising in perinatal mental health.

Debbie is a Person-Centred therapist who works with adults 18+.

Person Centred therapy supports people to safely explore and express their feelings, in a safe and non-judgemental manner. This is due to non-directiveness of this model of therapy. This helps the client to explore their feelings or issues in their own time and at their pace, while being supported by the therapist.

Debbie offers support with the following and more

• Depression
• Stress
• Anxiety
• Neurodiverse
• Toxic and abusive relationships
• Grief, bereavement, loss
• Suffering from trauma
• Loss of relationships/job/self-indent
