🗣️Today is World mental health day. Our core aim is to prevent mental illness and improve mental wellbeing in women in the perinatal period.
Su***de remains the leading cause of death in this period. We have systems that need fixing and we continue to campaign on this. If you are struggling, remember you are not alone, reach out somewhere, it does get better! Snowdrop exists because of my own experience with mental illness in this period. There are periods then when I thought things wouldn’t get better, but they did, things do get better. It can take time. You are stronger than some of those thoughts want to think.
