Can you be TOO motivated in the gym?

I think so. If you’re too mentally aroused, excited and aggressive during a set it can actually negatively affect your training. I think for the best training you need a good combination of COMPOSURE and ASSERTIVENESS.

Training with aggression is so important, but composure is more important to make sure you’re taking that set all the way instead of bailing early

Bits from upper 3. Favourite session of the week

Hadn’t touched bench press for years before starting this training plan, used to bash 1RMs when I was like 21. Worked up to a crap 160x1 before so I’m excited to see how strong I can get on these 😂

Also t bar row is easily my favourite back exercise. Just fun. Training is absolutely flying right now 🚀
