This afternoon we have been playing Taskmaster.
The taskmaster set a series of tasks for the residents to complete and they were scored on each task.
Task 1 was the warm up task and everyone had to throw a teabag into a mug ☕️
Task 2 was the main task , which was to draw a picture of your favourite animal without paper and pencil (we used a magnetic board). 🦒🐘
Task 3 was to guess 'Whats in the Box' 📦
Task 4 was to get the highest score possible on the bean bag target.🎯
We were testing the resources for Taskmaster Care Club and all agreed it was good fun

This afternoon, we hosted the Global Tea Party as part of Nutrition & Hydration Week 2026.
The residents enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea with sumptious cakes, very generously baked or donated by our fantastic staff.
Thankyou so much to all the girls who baked and brought in cakes, the residents have loved them 😋😋

This week we have work experience Patryk with us from Rhyddings.
His first job of the day was to engage the residents with a game of balloon tennis and they all loved it. He has thrown himself in with great enthusiasm and the ladies and gents have really enjoyed having him on board.

On Day 2 of Nutrition & Hydration Week we enjoyed delicious fresh fruit smoothies. They were so good we had 2 each 😋
