🚁 Honoured to Support the North West Air Ambulance 🚁

Yesterday, two of our team members, Chris and Pete, were privileged to be invited to the North West Air Ambulance base at Barton Airport. It was an inspiring day, learning about the truly incredible work the NWAA carries out and raising awareness of the vital support needed to keep this life-saving service running.

Both Chris and Pete described the experience as humbling — being in the presence of such a dedicated team who go above and beyond to help people when they need it most.

💡 Did you know?

It costs a staggering £18 million per year to keep the service operational, with all funds raised through charitable donations.

The NWAA attends an average of 10 missions every single day.

Their highly trained medical and support staff deliver state-of-the-art care directly at the scene.

Alongside their helicopters, they also operate a fleet of rapid response vehicles.

Following their visit, Chris and Pete have been inspired to go even further — they’ve signed up to take part in a charity skydive in 2026 to raise funds for NWAA! 🌟 Details on how to support them will be shared soon.

We are incredibly proud of our team and the commitment shown to supporting such an essential service. Please, if you can, consider giving what you can to help keep the North West Air Ambulance flying high. 💛

Please share to let people know of the wonderful work of Hyndburn Bereavement Support Group.

A safe space, this is an open group, free of charge to anyone who feels they need help and support following bereavement.

🌳💚 Our Coping Tree 💚🌳

Yesterday in our bereavement group, we began with a bare tree. As each person shared a coping strategy, memory, or source of strength, they added a “leaf” to the branches.

What began empty slowly filled with colour and life. 🌿 Each leaf represented courage, resilience, and the ways we find comfort in grief. Together, the tree became a symbol of support, showing that while grief is deeply personal, we don’t walk the journey alone.

The group was a wonderful time of uniting and sharing in a safe, supportive space. Just like the seasons bring new shoots, sharing our experiences can bring hope, connection, and gentle healing. 🌸

Thank you to everyone who added their voice to the tree, you made it grow. 💜

Please help us spread the word. If you know someone who might benefit from being part of this safe and welcoming group, let them know they’d be warmly welcomed.

Thank you Paul, for your kind words 🩵

🌿 Grief Group Gathering – Tuesday 12th August 🌿

Our latest grief support session was well attended, with lots of new faces joining the group. Together, we shared, reflected, and created bonds of love, support, and healing. 💛

From grounding exercises to a heartfelt writing activity and our “Garden of Grief” reflection, participants connected, shared stories, and found comfort in one another’s company.

A safe, welcoming space for connection, understanding, and hope, reminding us that we are never alone in our grief. 🌱

We’re so grateful for all the kind words and support we receive, your feedback means the world to us. 💙
