While completing my degree in Sports Science I found I was enjoying the anatomy and physiology modules the most. As a result I decided a career involving these would be ideal for me. I applied for a Sports Massage Course and fell in love with it! From the first day of the course I knew that it was for me. I loved working with the muscles to remove tension, knots and ease pain. I enjoyed the fact that I would be helping people with injuries and general tension- make their lives and their training easier/more intense. Massage is a Lifestyle not a Luxury - you need massage to keep your body in the best condition it can be in so that you can achieve those new PB's or just live your life pain free!

This is a good one for everyone but it also is great during pregnancy! 🤰🏼

One change that happens is a change in your centre of gravity! This puts way more strain on the muscles in your mid back and changes the way your thoracic spine moves, this can be painful!

Try this simple postural exercises to help decrease pain and improve your movement patterns!

standing lat stretch: place one hand on a door frame, and think about breathing into your lower lungs to open up your ribcage

- hold 30 - 45 seconds
- switch sides
- repeat 6 times

Hello all, it’s been a very long time since I posted so I thought I would take the opportunity to re-introduce myself/ say hi to my new followers 👋
For those of you who don’t know me, I am Molly. Mum to Aylah, Wife to Ben and dog Mum to Billy 💜

I have been a qualified Sports Massage Therapist for 9 years - time is flying and I have been based at Locker Gym for 8 years!

I am also qualified in Pregnancy massage, Manual lymphatic drainage and Oncology Massage, these treatments are brilliant and the results can be absolutely amazing. Please see my website for more info on what is involved.

Our Story

I am a Mobile and Clinic based Sports and Pregnancy Massage Therapist. While completing my degree in Sports Science I found I was enjoying the anatomy and physiology modules the most. As a result I decided a career involving these would be ideal for me. I applied for a Sports Massage Course and fell in love with it! From the first day of the course I knew that it was for me. I loved working with the muscles to remove tension, knots and ease pain. I enjoyed the fact that I would be helping people with injuries and general tension- make their lives and their training easier/more intense.

The more I worked with people the more I realised I wanted to help them live a better quality of life, when I had to stop treating clients when they became pregnant I knew this was the next step for my career. I trained in Pregnancy Massage so I could continue to help and support women on their next adventure into motherhood. The body undergoes significant changes while baby is growing and massage is a powerful tool that can be used to help relive the stress and strain placed on the musculoskeletal system. Massage is a Lifestyle not a Luxury - you need massage to keep your body in the best condition it can be in so that you can achieve those new PB's or just live your life pain free!
