What are yours?

For Yoga I'm planning strength training poses like squats and lunges but also longer relaxation and more restorative poses. It's so important to take time to rest but often we feel guilty or undeserving of rest!

What would you like more/less of?
Can be Yoga or life related!!
It's so helpful to get feedback to incorporate suggestions when planning classes - so thank you in advance!

Yoga is not a mysterious practice, there's loads of poses which you are familiar with like plank and lunges.
But there's a huge variety of other aspects like; chanting, candle meditation, laughing Yoga 😂 and breathing techniques. The benefits of these diverse exercises include; reduced stress, better focus and improved sleep.

In Autumn we're focusing on practicing Yoga outside and meditation techniques.

We're enjoying being in nature and feeling the Autumn sun and hearing birdsong.

Then we get cosy inside and practice meditation.

I'm introducing a new meditation technique each week so people can decide what works for them, whether that's; candle meditation, chanting, visualisations or body scanning. Whatever works to help quieten the chatter of the mind and leave you feeling more grounded and calm.

I'm so grateful to have our Yoga community - I always feel so positive after Yoga on a Friday! So thank you for everyone's comments about what they want to focus on for this term and helping to shape our group Yoga practice x
