I actually can't put into words how grateful I am to count these special ones as two of my most favourite people and bestest friends in the world

They say that happiness is a choice. Some argue that tough circumstances make it not so. But even in tough times, you get to choose how you respond.
You choose to seek smiles, joy, love, laughter and kindness... or all the horrible opposites not worth listing (and I'm constantly dumbfounded that some would seem to prefer to be this way).
Every moment of every day you get to choose - do you bring a smile or a frown to your face first?
That is your choice and your choice alone... and if you aren't seeing the life you want reflected back at you, ask yourself which you reach for habitually.

HAPPY 14th BIRTHDAY TO THE MOST PHENOMENAL HUMAN TO EVER GRACE THIS PLANET 🫶
He is without a doubt my raison d'être; making sure he has a happy, peaceful and love-filled life has been the guiding precept of my every choice since the moment he was born.
I can't believe that at this time 14 years ago I was cuddling a gorgeous, tiny little bundle in my arms and now he's a whole big teenage beauty.
He's a phenomenal human. Kind, inspiring and gorgeous, both inside and out.
I love you Dan (my not-so-little-anymore baby) ###

You know you've lucked out when 2 years with someone feels like 2 minutes.
We've had SO many wonderful experiences and adventures together and every single time is always the BEST time until the next one... even lazy Sundays feel like a treat with this man.
What I love more than anything, is how HUUUUUUGE my smile always is since he's been in my life. I laugh, I smile, I joke, I have a sense of humour (who knew?!), I act like a dummy, I Tigger around the room... and he loves every bit of it - as I do him.
NEVER has an angry word been said, respect is complete and utmost, we've learnt better than any how kindness matters, how you speak matters, what you appreciate matters and even tiny moments make life better. Never stop being grateful for your blessings.
Thank you for not only our years of being bestest friends before, but now loving and living with my bestest buddy, closest confidant, and favourite human. La Mai absolutely adored him so that's all I need to know!
