Go Team!

A couple of snippets from our Silent Hot 26+2 practice today.

The room just dropped into this really steady, focused energy. No guidance with voice just breath leading the whole practice. You could feel how everyone started to move from that place of being guided rather than pushing.

There’s something powerful about sharing space like that… individual, but also completely together. The breath carried us through every posture and you could sense people really settling into their own zone.
Because it felt so special, Silent Practice is going to become a monthly staple at HUT this year.

Thank you for showing up the way you did today.

Heal. Unite. Transform.

SILENT 26 + 2 — Saturday 9AM.

No chatter. No distractions.

Just breath, heat, and the rhythm of practice.
I’ll be on the mat with you, guiding through Ujjayi breath.

Sometimes the deepest work happens when we say less and feel more.
If you’ve been needing space to reset… this is it.

Breathe. Move. Arrive. 🔥

From empty space to shared presence ✨

When we begin to question our motives, we often find ourselves in the muddiness, the uncomfortable, honest space where growth actually lives. Learning to hold both the dark and the light within us is part of that work.

And then comes another layer: boundaries.

There are moments when people overstep, consciously or unconsciously, and we are invited to choose how we respond. Setting a boundary isn’t an act of punishment or rejection, it’s an act of self-respect.

What follows can be challenging. Reactions may arise. Emotions may be projected. And while it can feel personal, part of our own healing is recognising that other people’s reactions belong to their inner work, not ours.

We cannot manage, fix, or soften that process for them.

What we can do is take responsibility for ourselves, choosing what supports our wellbeing, our growth, and our integrity. That choice, made again and again, is where healing deepens.

January at The Hut 🤍

January has been full of real moments, real people, and genuine commitment.

Those 6:30am starts, the steady rhythm of the Sunrise Club, bodies showing up in the dark, in the cold, choosing themselves before the day begins.

We’ve moved, strengthened, softened, and reset, through challenging hot, dynamic practices, grounding classes, and the nourishment of sound baths, meditation, and moments of stillness that invite us to slow down and listen.

Alongside group classes, January has also held quieter, deeper work. One-to-one sessions, personal conversations, and clients now one month into our HELD Programme, showing up with honesty, patience, and trust in their own process.

This month has been guided by a team of incredible teachers who are present, caring, and deeply invested in the people in the room. Every class, every offering, led with intention and heart.

January hasn’t been about perfection.
It’s been about showing up, as you are and finding connection through shared practice, shared space, and shared humanity.

Thank you to every person who walked through the door, rolled out a mat, sat in stillness, or committed to their own healing journey.

This is community.

This is The Hut. 🤍

As we move through life, we evolve. What we need in one season might be very different in the next. Yoga is a way of staying in tune with that. Learning to listen to what’s present, rather than forcing what used to work.

There is real joy in the challenge, the expression, the play, and the aliveness of practice. Group classes are a huge part of that. They bring energy, momentum, and a shared sense of moving together, and they can be incredibly powerful for the body, mind and spirit.

At the same time, daily I see how deeper connection can form in one-to-one spaces. When the practice becomes less about keeping up and more about understanding yourself. When there’s time to listen, to notice, and to let what matters for you unfold physically, mentally, and emotionally, with the guidance of someone experienced in listening and attuned to allowing what matters to you unfold.

A regular practice, in any form, becomes about attunement.
Not achieving more, but becoming more aware.
More present. More honest.

That’s how The Hut has evolved.

Not away from yoga, but deeper into it.
A space where the body is supported through movement, and the person is met through connection.
That’s the space I’m committed to holding

We’re mid-week and already feeling the rhythm 🌱
6.30am crews showing up strong, evening classes settling us in, and now Wednesday has arrived.

From Thursday to Sunday, there are plenty of opportunities to step onto your mat, be guided, supported, and reminded that you don’t have to do it alone.

Your teachers are here.
The space is warm.
Your practice is waiting.

A little share for those of you who’ve been asking about deepening your meditation and mindfulness practice 🤍

I’m personally taking part in an 8-week online mindfulness-based living course that begins with an introductory session on Wednesday 4th February, and I wanted to open the invitation out to the rest of my clients too.

It’s being run by my aunt, someone I’ve learned a great deal from over the years when it comes to presence, compassion, and living mindfully in real, everyday life. I can genuinely and wholeheartedly recommend her.

A couple of you have already signed up for the intro session, which feels really lovely. The beauty of it is that you can try the first session and simply see if it feels aligned before committing to the full eight weeks.

If you’re feeling called to slow things down, feel more grounded, or gently strengthen your meditation practice, this could be a beautiful complement to your health journey.

Just something to consider if it resonates 🌿

Just send me a message and I can get you booked in for the intro session.

Welcome to the Hut 🌿

If you’re new here, we’re really glad you’ve arrived.
When you come in, the teacher will greet you and sign you in.
She’ll gently ask if there’s anything going on in your body that we should be aware of such as injuries, sensitivities, or anything you’d like supported today.

You’ll be shown:
where to leave your belongings
where the bathroom is
where to find your mat (and props if you need them)
There’s filtered water available too, so feel free to top up your bottle.

Most importantly ;
You’re invited to let yourself be a beginner.
There’s nothing to get right, nothing to prove.
Just arrive as you are, settle into the space,
and enjoy the practice.

Sarah and the team 🤍

6.30am, practice finished.

A quiet room, steadier bodies, clearer minds.

Choosing to rise early and meet yourself on the mat before the day begins creates space to breathe, to move, to arrive before the noise.

Early mornings aren’t for everyone, but for those they suit, they really do give something back. 🤍

This mat becomes yours for a while.
Your breath, your pace, your time.

A class is never just a class.
It’s care in the details.
It’s intention in how a space is held.
It’s teachers offering their presence, their attention, and their light.
So proud of the team here, for all that’s seen, and all that happens behind the scenes.

If there is one thing you can expect here at the Hut is that each class is unique and energy focused.

We had a calm start this morning yet the energy was strong and determined.

You can still join Rita tonight for Mindful Movement 6.30pm.
