Today, we celebrated VE Day here at The Belvedere.

We had a great day doing some More...Creativity arts and crafts and enjoyed a traditional British afternoon tea. So many of the people living with us got involved and were laughing and singing along to 'A long Way to Tipperary' and was a brilliant time had by all.

We have welcomed a new hairdresser here at The Belvedere.

Her name is Mandy and her services are going down a treat. Everyone living with us are really enjoying visiting the salon frequently and love how they look and feel after their appointment. Some even visit the salon together and enjoy a glass of wine while waiting. Mandy has brought a real good feel to a Thursday for the people who live with us and we love to see all the smiles when people have finished their treatments, thank you Mandy!

Today we took a trip to Blackpool Zoo!

This was an amazing day out from the coach ride to the zoo, and also enjoying fish and chips on the coach travelling down the beach front. Everyone had the most amazing time and couldn't have hoped for nicer weather.

Also a massive thank you to the amazing staff that volunteered their time to accompany the people living with us to the zoo. Everyone had the best day.

Today, we had a great book club session in our lounge.

We had something for everyone's taste and even tried out some sensory books. It turned into a gents afternoon, everyone had a lovely time. Can't wait for the next one!
