Isn’t it crazy how much energy we waste worrying about people who probably aren’t even thinking about us.

I’ll hold my hands up high in the sky and say I am guilty of caring what other people think about me - I’m a people pleaser.

However we are here for a very short time and you have to do what makes you happy.

When I first started my fitness journey, before I became a coach, I thought I had it figured out.

Train two or three times a week, eat whatever I wanted and eventually I’d get lean.

But the truth is… I didn’t get anywhere.

I was putting in the effort, but my body wasn’t changing. And the more I tried to convince myself that “at least I’m working out” the more frustrated I became.

I wasn’t broken. I wasn’t lazy. I just didn’t have structure.

The shift happened when I stopped guessing and started building balance.

I followed a structured workout plan instead of training randomly.
I started fuelling my body with the right nutrition.
I found balance between training, eating and recovery.

Once I created a routine, focused on balance, and stayed consistent, everything changed. Not overnight, but little by little, the progress started to show. My energy, my strength, my confidence - it all grew 💁‍♀️

So if you’re where I was - training but not seeing the changes - don’t give up!

My thoughts on why you shouldn’t work with a coach just for a certain goal

We can always feel that bit better, so working with a coach year-round isn’t about chasing one short-term goal it’s about:
1. Building consistency
2. Having accountability when motivation dips
3. Learning skills that carry you through every season
4. Knowing how to keep a clear mind when life gets busy

So next time you reach a goal, think of the bigger picture… could you feel even better or be in a better position?

You’re great at following systems at work, but when it comes to fitness… you see yourself as someone who tries diets and never reaches the goal.

When you identify as ‘someone who always starts over’ or ‘someone who’s too busy,’ you’ll always fall back into that role.

Try a shift in the outlook of it and shift your identity, the actions follow automatically.

Another milestone unlocked 📉

So proud of Chris for continuing to push forward on his journey.

When he first came to me, the goal was simple: lose a bit of weight and build up his chest. We smashed that, then moved on to dropping a bit more weight. Step by step, the results have just kept coming.

This is about consistency and showing up. The results speak for themselves.

All of this has been achieved by structure, a good training plan, a strong mindset and food he enjoys that he doesn’t find boring.

It has also been achieved by having a very good coach 💁‍♀️😉

Honestly, half the time in our sessions we’re chatting about what’s for dinner 😂 but that’s the whole point - fitness should slot into your life, not take it over.
