Huge shoutout to one of my amazing clients who’s dropped 5kg and is heading into her holiday feeling confident.

She has a crazyily busy schedule and is away from home every weekend. She needed the guidance and motivation to make sure that she was going to be holiday ready/ keep on track.

We had to tailor her meals to fit her busy schedule as she’s constantly driving between clients. They needed to be quick to prepare, convenient and still taste amazing 😋

Results of adding more calories in a calorie deficit.

My client is in a calorie deficit, it’s all working however she was experiencing:
Slow weight loss
Fatigue
Lack of energy
Recovery was slow

What was happening to her body?👇

Her metabolism had adapted. So her body down regulated to preserve energy for the day.

So we increased her food intake by just 150 calories a day so she’s still in a deficit, but now her body will function better.

The result of this
✅ Better energy
✅ Not tired anymore
✅ And the scales are moving in the right direction for her 📉

Knowing when to pull back and push up is one of the key benefits of having a coach. I track the data which tells me the information that I need to make decisions like this.

Client progress…growth phase

Chris is a 1-2-1 in person client who came to me a few months ago looking to build muscle and change his physique around his chest and shoulders.

Our sessions are heavily focussed around the areas he wanted to build on, whilst also training other body parts such as legs etc as it’s important to train the full body.

As you can see, we’ve made significant progress during this build phase and we will continue to push and grow.

We are both really happy with the results so far and looking forward to seeing what else we can do and achieve over the coming months.

13 Weeks.. and on her way to feeling even more amazing ✨

She’s a busy lady working 2 jobs and hit a block in the gym.
She’s been going to the gym for years but she’d plateaued and now needed guidance and a structured plan.

As she’s so busy with life, we tailored the training sessions and the food plans around her work so that it was easy and doable for her to stay consistent.

From day one, she showed up with determination and a willingness to achieve her goals and the results so far speak for themselves.

A lot of people think about the future…
Pensions, mortgages and retirement plans.

But not enough people think about what their body will actually be capable of in 5, 10, 20 years.

What kind of life you’ll be able to live and how you’ll move through it.

The work you do now, the strength you build, the habits you create, the way you look after yourself is what will help you live a better life.

I know in 20 years, I still want to be doing what I love.
Still moving well, still feeling strong, still showing up fully for the people around me.

Training whilst on holiday

Just because you’re on holiday, you don’t have to stop your gym sessions.

Not every session has to be perfect or as intense- it’s the consistency that matters.

If your hotel has a gym and you’re lucky enough to have machines you can smash a workout. If the gym has little equipment you can still get a session in by just using a couple of dumbbells.

* Dumbbell bench press (flat, incline, or floor)
* Dumbbell thrusters ( squat into shoulder press)
* Bent-over rows
* Single-arm dumbbell row
* Shoulder press
* Lateral raise
* Goblet squats
* Walking lunges
* Bicep curls
* Overhead tricep extensions
* Russian twists
* Plus many more

You can have a quick session that keeps the energy high and your guilt low.

But if you use your holiday as a rest period then that’s absolutely fine. It’s what works for you.
