Here’s how I fuel my body in a day 🚀

Following on from my post last week about
‘Not sure what foods you should be eating’

Here’s what I eat day to day, it helps me fuel my day and stay structured.

Each meal contains protein, carbs and fats.

Food is fuel, balance is key and under-eating won’t get you results.

By no means you should copy what I eat as calories are different for everybody and this is based on my weight, goals etc.

LADIES!!

“Growing muscle makes you bulky.”

Nope. It really doesn’t.

I used to think this too and I still hear it from so many women I coach. 

Truth is, building muscle doesn’t make you bulky.

It gives you definition, curves, strength and confidence which are all things most of us actually want!

What does make you bulky is eating in a large calorie surplus, holding on to body fat without building lean muscle underneath and not training smart.
When you focus on building muscle, here is what happens…

Your clothes fit better
You feel stronger and more capable
You finally start to see shape and tone
You feel good in your body
You gain more confidence

Don’t be scared of weights or lifting heavy, you won’t wake up bulky.

Instead, you will feel strong, confident and proud of what your body can do.

A week of the usual- PT’s, online clients smashing it and fixing people. Followed by a weekend at the beach and climbing...

Protein, carbs, fats and calories, you need them all.

Food is fuel for your body, don’t starve it.

We NEED protein, carbs and fats to keep a healthy body but also to reach your goals.

It all starts in the morning what you tell yourself.

Start telling yourself that you’re going to win your day.

With a positive mindset, watch how your life changes.

Even showing up to the gym… start telling yourself you’re capable. That you’re getting stronger. You’re losing weight, that you’re showing up, even when it’s hard.

If you keep telling yourself “I’m not losing weight quick enough” or “I’ll never get there” you’re already losing the fight before it starts.

But if you start saying “I’m getting better”, “I’ve got this” or even just “I showed up today,” that mindset shift changes everything.

You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to be consistent. Consistency wins over perfection.

What real transformation actually looks like 👇

Yes, a drop in weight and before and after photos are great. They show progress, they are motivating and I love celebrating these wins with my clients.

But they’re only part of the story.

The real transformation is the stuff you can’t always see in photos.

Feeling less stressed around food
Eating without guilt
Moving because you want to, not because you “have to”
Feeling strong, not just smaller
Confidence in clothes
Energy to get through the day without relying on 3 coffees

A little update on moi 💁‍♀️

Training has changed to 3 times a week…upper, lower and full body.

Calories are currently at 2191 with 200 calories of cardio 3x week and 12k steps daily.

Training 3 times a week has massively helped with fatigue on my body and joints following some blood work I had done.

You don’t need to train every day to see real progress. I’m still seeing progress even with lowering my training sessions.

The main focus for me right now is nailing my sleep and recovery. I have been using sleep stacks which helped me go straight into a deep sleep but only really had 1-2 full sleep cycles through the night and the average person should have 4-6.

I’d wake up feeling like I hadn’t slept. I’ve now implemented support max neuro pm to hopefully keep me asleep through the night.

Working on my sleep has helped me massively in the day. I have more energy that I can give to clients and in my own training and life.
