Massive thank you to everyone who attended the respite and rehab launch night at the beautiful Care UK Long Stone Manor Care Home last night. Such a fabulous networking event promoting our new package. Offering exceptional care isn't a new concept for Care UK and offering outstanding physiotherapy service to patients isn't new to us either but we believe offering both of these things together in one package to make discharge from hospital simpler is a new and very exciting concept. We are delighted to be leading the project and excited for what's to come. Here are a few photos from last night.

So excited to finally be able to share some exciting news. Last night was the launch of our private rehab and rehabilitation package at the beautiful Care UK Long Stone Manor Care Home. Driven out of passion to deliver what people are asking us for, we can now offer respite stay inclusive of daily physio. In addition to the wonderful facilities offered at Long Stone Manor including stunning accommodation and grounds, all care needs, specialist nutritional support from their in house chefs, life style activities program, laundry, wifi, in house cinema, salon and so much more this will be complimented by a full Physio package including assessment, 5 physio sessions each week, advice on walking aids, stairs and car transfer practise as appropriate, home visits and advice on making home safe and suitable for discharge, attendance at our onsite class and free attendance to the closest community exercise class for the following 6 months on discharge. One price, one point of contact. Hospital discharge made easy.

Delighted to wish the lovely Avril a very happy birthday from all of us at Physiofit. When asked what her secret to such a long life was she shared that she was a keen walker and along with a great war time diet this contributed to a very healthy lifestyle. Avril continues to enjoy weekly exercise in her Physio session with us and firmly believes that exercise is the key! Hope you had a lovely day. It’s a pleasure working with you ♥️

Thank you Care UK Long Stone Manor Care Home for inviting us to talk to the residents and community members about the importance of fitness for later life and reducing falls risk. Each week we run a ‘fit for later life’ exercise class for residents of the home, however did you know we also run ‘fit for Later life’ classes for people in the surrounding community too? Please contact the office to book your place.

It was a full house today for Care UK Ladybrook Manor Care Home for our fitness in later life and falls prevention talk, followed by our weekly exercise class with Pete. It was such a pleasure to educate the room on changes large and small to reduce their falls risk and empower them to take control of staying active in to later life 💪

Connecting Chelford enjoyed the opportunity to join Chelford Surgery Patients Representative Group to deliver the 'MOVE MORE- EAT WELL' event at Chelford Primary School on Saturday 17th May.

The event was packed out and the attendees had the pleasure of a talk from Dr Nelson, an opportunity to enjoy an active session led by Charlotte Hodges from Paragon Pilates as well as information from One You Cheshire East, Everybody Health & Leisure and Physiofit Ltd.

Really enjoyed chatting with the lovely residents and people from the community around Abney Court Care Home this week about the benefits of fitness in later life and how to reduce your risk of falls. We’re so passionate about prevention and optimisation here at Physiofit 💪. We are very excited to be starting our physio lead exercise classes here soon too! 👏 see you then!
