We honoured our incredible long-serving staff with certificates, beautiful flowers, and thoughtful gifts. 🎁 Congratulations to Channy, Lubo Jnr, Marcel, Aleena, Catherine and Anju on reaching 5, 10, and 20 years of dedication to Oak Lodge. We’re so grateful for everything you do! 💛

Our team were also treated to a delicious lunch (yes, pizza and cake included! 🍕🍰), and our residents were wowed by traditional Nepalese dancing performed by our talented staff. 💃✨ What a wonderful afternoon of joy, gratitude and celebration!

✨ Goodbye & Good Luck Terri! ✨

Last week, we said farewell to the wonderful Terri Eakins, our Group Activity Lead. Terri first joined Forest Care as an Activity Coordinator at Rowan and, through her passion for meaningful activities, worked her way up to leading our activity teams across all homes. 🌟

Terri truly is a ray of sunshine, full of creativity, energy and endless ideas. From launching Forest Care competitions that inspired our teams to championing NAPA training and supporting colleagues in their growth, she has made a huge impact on both staff and residents alike. 💛

We’re so proud to see Terri take the next step in her career with NAPA, where we know she’ll continue to shine. You’ll be deeply missed, Terri!

To celebrate her last day, Terri enjoyed what she loves most, an Elvis tribute act 🎶 with residents, plus food, drinks, a goodbye video from across Forest Care, and lots of cards and gifts.

Thank you, Terri, for everything... you’ve left a lasting legacy at Forest Care. 💐

We’re looking for an Activities Assistant to join our friendly and motivated team at Rowan Lodge Care Home. This role will cover Saturdays and Sundays, with Fridays also available if possible.

As part of our Activities Team, you’ll help deliver a varied and engaging programme of group, individual and one-to-one activities that bring joy and therapeutic value to our residents. 🚐 Please note: this role occasionally requires driving a small manual van to support trips out with residents.

Congratulations to Oak Lodge care home and volunteer Karen Pearn who are both finalists in the categories ‘Residential Home of the Year’ and ‘Care Volunteer Hero’ and congratulations to Lisa Lovell, Administrator at Elm Lodge who is a finalist for the ‘Support Superhero’ award at the Hampshire Care Awards! The awards celebrate compassion, professionalism, and the power of great care in Hampshire, and will take place on Thursday 18th September at the Hilton Hotel in Southampton.
