From October to March we can’t make enough vitamin D from sunlight, so to keep bones and muscles healthy, it’s best to take a daily 10 microgram supplement of vitamin D. You can get vitamin D from most pharmacies and retailers.

Men’s Health Day is back!

Our second free Men’s Health Day is now booked for Saturday, 1 November in Aldershot – so make sure you get it in your diaries now!

After the success of our first event in Farnborough back in January, we now have loads of great, free activities lined up between 11am and 3pm for The Wellington shopping centre

Whether you’re looking to get active, learn more about your health or connect with local support services, there’s something for everyone. You’ll find expert advice on topics like bowel cancer awareness, weight management, stopping smoking, and mental health and emotional wellbeing. Plus, there will be local sports clubs and activities to explore.

We’re also offering free health checks for men, so it’s a great chance to get a quick check-up and ask any questions in a relaxed setting.

Come along, ask questions, and discover what’s available in your community. It will be a welcoming space with plenty of friendly faces ready to help. Men of all ages are welcome!

For more information, please see the link in the comment section below.

A UK-wide emergency alert test which will take place on Sunday 7th September 2025 at 3pm. Mobile phones will emit a loud siren and vibrate — even if they’re on silent.

Whilst these alerts aim to protect the public in emergencies, they could put victim-survivors of domestic abuse at risk — especially those who rely on hidden phones as part of their safety plan.

Please know, you CAN opt out of this test.

If you need to disable alerts for safety reasons, follow the steps here:
