FINAL REMINDER - Late Fees apply as of 1st May

When you go to register on Clubmate, put in your email and it will ask you for a password. Simply click on 'Reset password' then you will receive an email and follow those instructions.

If for reason whatsoever you did not receive any of the 3 separate issues of Waterside that we issued which advised of Farnham AS's switch to Clubmate (which means no more handbooks or keys are issued or required as we changed to combi-locks), then please email me and I will assist you with the process:

Top Tip:

Please remember that the main objective of this match is to raise funds 💰💰💰 for the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice in Farnham, whose area of responsibility covers both Surrey and Hampshire.

Summer Pit, Dairy Pond, Tree Lake, Pumphouse and Horseshoe Lakes are now open with immediate effect.

They all now have Aerators installed on them and anyone found to be tampering with them, will lose their membership.

Over the next week, they may come on at random times while we are undertaking some final adjustments to the system.

Temporary Lake closures at Yateley:

Dairy Pond:
This will be closed from 7:00am on Sunday 19th April until aerator installation works have been completed.

Tree Lake, Pumphouse Lake, Horseshoe Lake and Summer Pit:
These will be closed from 8:00pm on Sunday whilst aerator installation works take place.

We hope to have these fisheries open as soon as possible and will advise again in due course.

All current members will have already received an advisory message via Clubmate about this.

This is the type of combilocks that we have fitted to the gates at the following fisheries:

a) Badshot Lea Big Pond
b) Badshot Lea Small Pond
c) Mill Lane
d) Yateley East Complex
e) Yateley South Complex

These are mechanical locks, not electrical.

The numbers shown are indicating the button to press for each number: 1 to 9 + 0.

For those whose eyesight is not what it once was, it is not a digital display and will not change.

The 'reset' key is on the left, so if you make a mistake, press it and start again.

Turn the handle down slowly & firmly to open the gate.

Upon closing the gate, the combilock will automatically lock the gate again.

Photographs for Clubmate

Please help yourselves get your membership quickly, which means you have to be able to be identifiable by our bailiff teams as of 1st April 2026.

When adding your photograph, please remember that the photo has to a a passport style photograph, whcih means:

a) Only you in the photo, and only head and neck
b) Look straight at the camera, not up or down at it
c) Check to see that your eyes are open once the photo has been taken
d) No hats
e) No sunglasses
f) No photos with fish - It is your ID photo, not theirs
g) No photos with children or pets - Ditto
h) No bright lights or sun behind you
i) No dark shadows over part or all of your face - Alight behind the camera helps
j) As plain a background as possible please

Once you submit your photograph, it cannot be changed by you (for security reasons), so an insufficient photo of you may cause delays to your membership becoming active.

1 perfect example of what we need is shown below, along with a lot of what we do not want !

So, please follow these very simple guidelines and avoid submitting photos like those below.

🎣 HAVING TROBLE REJOINING FARNHAM ANGLING SOCIETY USING CLUBMATE?

Do not Forget, the last Drop In session is this weekend:

When: 📍 9:00am–11:00am on Saturday 28th March 2026

Where: 📍 The Royal British Legion Club, Guildford Road, Normandy, GU3 2AW

When you come to the drop-in session, you must bring your Blue Badge, PIP or DLA letter If you're looking for a Disabled membership; your MOD 90 if you’re looking for a Military membership and proof of your DOB for Juniors and Intermediates'.

If you're bringing cash to pay please have the correct amount.

We also take debit or credit card of course.

The first thing to do is download the app onto your smart phone before you come.

Go to the Apple Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android)

Search for 'Clubmate Fishing' and download the app ready for the drop in.

If you want to activate your membership at the session, you will need access to your email, either on your smartphone, tablet or laptop, or have someone you can call who may access your emails whilst you are at the session: this is because when you set up your FAS Clubmate account, it will email you a temporary password which is valid for 15 minutes, which will need to be used on the app to complete registration.
After registration, you can set your own password and you are good to go.

Just a quick reminder that your current membership expires on 30th March 2026. Please note that there is no fishing or access to FAS fisheries on 31st March each year.
