As of 18th April it is no longer a requirement to wear face masks in Scotland.

I will continue to wear mine for the foreseeable future however I’ll leave it up to you whether you wear one or not.

I will continue to do lateral flow tests twice weekly for your safety.

If you’re feeling anxious about the new guidelines please chat to me about it.

Following the First Minister’s advice yesterday I’ll be taking a lateral flow test everyday. Please can I ask clients to take a lateral flow test on the day of your appointment. Thank you

My power is now back on. All appointments as from tomorrow (Wednesday) will be ok. I’ll be in touch with people who had appointments Monday and Tuesday of this week to rearrange.

We have arranged further drop-in clinics across for the coming days – these clinics are ONLY for anyone aged over 40 who has yet to have their first dose of COVID-19 vaccination. If you are over 40 and have yet to have your first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, the team look forward to welcoming you! Please remember to wear a face covering, teams at the clinics will manage queues to ensure everyone keeps a safe distance. If clinics are busy, you may be asked to come back later.

😀😀It’s official as from next week I’ll be back in business but I’m still awaiting new guidelines which should be coming from the Scottish government soon. I’ve started contacting the people who I had to cancel at the beginning of the year. If I’ve not contacted you and you’re needing an appointment please phone or message me. Looks like I’ll be getting back to massaging from 26th April. 😀 I’ll contact all of you I had to cancel. Others who are needing a massage and weren’t cancelled please get in touch. I’ll be working from home and back in Serenity on a Thursday as usual. Looking forward to getting back to some kind of normality and seeing you all again. Thank you for your continued support it means so much to me ❤️

Well as you all know we’re in lockdown until the end of the month at the earliest. Unfortunately in this past 9/10 months I’ve had to cancel more appointments than I been able to make!
To all clients who have appointments later this month I’ll be in contact to reschedule yet again!

Merry Christmas to you all and roll on 2021! Thank you all for your support this year when I’ve been able to be open. Unfortunately I will need to cancel appointments after Christmas and will reopen again on 19th January 2021 due to the 3 week Tier 4 restrictions. I’ll still be open next week to everyone who has appointments.

OPENING DECEMBER

I’m pleased to announce that the personal circumstances that led to temporary closure have improved. I will be opening my doors again on 1st December, however for the first couple of months or so I will be working from the salon in Alford for 2 days a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The name of the salon will be changing to Serenity from Elegant Beauty.
I’ve contacted everyone that I had to cancel whilst I was off, however, if in my eagerness I’ve accidentally missed you please contact me to make an appointment.
I’m looking forward to seeing you’ll again and thank you for your understanding and support during these last few months when I had to close.

AT LAST!!!

Well it’s been some rollercoaster these last few days! I am delighted to say that I have been given the green light (yet again) to start back to work next week. The Scottish Government will be sending my professional body, SMTO, further guidance over the next few days. I shall be contacting clients to arrange appointments. I look forward to seeing you all again YAY! 😁
