A month today we are getting married, as many of you know I embarked on crocheting my wedding dress from alpaca yarn and many of you have asked how it is going …..

I’ve had comments like “oooh I didn’t know that was a thing” (I don’t think it is) and “have you bought your dress as you were obviously joking about making an alpaca dress?”

It’s not finished, with about 50 hours to go, it is definitely a labour of love, very much trial and error as I don’t have a pattern, just an idea of what I wanted and a few stitches I liked!

It’s taken about 400 hours (so far), I’ve used 4.72 miles of yarn and it still isn’t finished!

But I’m nothing if not determined so remember to check into our page this time next month to see what could possibly be the only crocheted alpaca wedding dress in the country! 🥰👰

Hate to blow my own trumpet but how wonderful are these reviews? I really do have the BEST ‘job’, not only do I get to be in a lovely place with our wonderful animals but I also get to meet the very BEST people! Thank you thank you thank you 😘 x

Annual haircut day is 8th June … if you’d like to meet the alpacas at their fluffiest be sure to book in before then as the boys will be sporting their pipe cleaner paca look after this date 😉😊🥰

Early morning check of the paddocks for sycamore saplings (which are poisonous to the donkeys) and saw this little gem growing in the rested grazing strip, a beautiful orchid 🪻
