The Chimneys Care Home in Alford are looking for caring individuals to come and join our team.
A unique opportunity has arisen to join our wonderful team- we have recently increased our staffing levels to 3 staff on the floor during the day, so we are looking for some extra special staff who have empathy & campassion to come & join our Chimneys family.
We have the following vacancies:
Senior Carer- Days.
Hours are between 7am-10pm, normal shifts are 7am-2pm, 7am-5.30pm & 2pm-10pm.
Senior Night Carer to work 3 or 4 nights per week. Hours are 10-7am (with cover sometimes on a 8pm-8am).
Weekend & evening Care Assistant: working 2-10om, 5.30-10pm and weekend shift 7am-2pm & 2-10 shifts.
Housekeeper: working 9-1pm- Wednesday/Saturday & Sunday.
Applicants must have experience of working in adult care, ideal have a level 3 - or willingness to study.
Our roles involve supporting residents with all aspects of personal care and implementing the delivery of person centred care to our residents. We offer care & support to residents so they can maintain their independence & offer low level care & support (no hight level dementia care) We pride ourselves in offering a unique traditional retirement care- where you get to spend quality time with the residents-offering person centred care, tailored to each individual
The Chimneys Care Home provides care for up to 14 residents. We are a small home that offers a warm, welcoming and family home to our residents.
Our team are dedicated, skilled and experienced in caring for people over the age of 65 with all aspects of personal care, well being & palliative/ end of life care needs. You would be joining a supportive team, who are committed to putting residents and their families at the heart of everything they do.
Flexible working will be required to meet the needs of the residents and will include working alternate weekends. Please don't apply if you can't work some weekends & flexibility.
