Full Time Senior Carer - 35hrs a week on a rota basis - alternate weekends

Part Time Senior Carer 16-20hrs- working on a rota basis- alternate weekends

Full Time Care Assistant- working Friday-Monday 30hrs

Part Time Care Assistant- working 5.30pm-10pm shifts

Additional hours are available to cover annual leave and training.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of such a wonderful team and part of The Chimneys family.

✨ What we’re looking for:
* Experience of caring for the elderly, ideally in a care home setting (senior roles require senior experience and level 3 or currently studying)
* A real desire to make a difference to people's lives
* A positive, can-do attitude
* Compassionate & empathetic
*Flexible to work shifts
*Organised & enthusiastic

Job Vacancies: Senior Care Assistant at The Chimneys Care Home, Alford.

Are you an experienced, caring, compassionate senior carer?

The Chimneys Care home is a warm and welcoming home with a friendly family atmosphere. Its not just a work place, we have created our own little community that is a lovely place to work.

What we are looking for:
* Providing care and support to our residents in a person centre way, always with dignity and respect.
*Experience of leading a team- providing guidance, support and motivation to the staff- leading by example..
*Medication management – safely administering and recording, auditing and ordering including booking medication in on our system.
*Dealing with professionals, including GPs, district nurses, pharmacists and social care teams, ensuring seamless care for residents.
*Reviewing, updating and implementing care plans

Hours: working between the hours of 7am-10pm. Working alternate weekends.

Wage: starting at £12.40 while beibg inducted to the role and increasing to £12.80 once a successful probation period has been completed.

Essential for the role;

*NVQ Level 3 in Adult Health and Social Care- or working towards.
*Must have experience in a senior or lead care role within a residential or nursing home
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*The ability to complete accurate daily records
*A genuine passion for supporting older adults
*A professional, positive and proactive approach with a can do attitude.
