✨ We’re so excited for SENDisco this Friday! ✨
We’ve made some really positive changes to help everyone enjoy the sessions even more 💛
For the first time, we’ll be using visual timetables throughout the evening so everyone knows: ✔ what’s happening
✔ when it’s happening
✔ what’s coming next
This helps reduce anxiety, avoids overwhelm, and creates a calmer, more enjoyable environment for all our young people 🌈
🕺 What to expect:
🧩 Structured sessions with a clear flow
🎶 Song requests included (no more fighting over the laptop 🙌)
🎨 Planned activities like our Easter chocolate nest craft
💃 Disco time with lights, bubbles & glow sticks

💃 SENDisco is back this Friday at Blackwell Community Centre… and we’re excited to try our new structured plan and visual timetable!
We’ve introduced a simple structure for the evening so everyone knows what’s happening and can get involved in the fun.
Families can enjoy:
🎨 Craft activities
🎶 Music and dancing
🫧 Bubbles and glow sticks
🎈 Group games
🧩 Sensory toys
Our discos work best when parents and carers join in alongside their children, helping them take part in the activities and enjoy the evening together.
If you haven’t tried SENDisco before, this could be a great one to come along to!

🎶 Help us build the SENDisco playlist! 🪩
With our next SENDisco just one week away, we’re getting everything ready… crafts are planned, visual schedules are being prepared, and we’ve even made a little video to show how to make the Easter chocolate nests! 🐣🍫

✨ SENDisco – FRIDAY 20th March
📍 Blackwell Community Centre
Our next SENDisco is coming up and we’re making a few changes to help everyone enjoy the evenings even more.
We’ll be introducing a more structured evening with a visual plan for the night, helping the children know what’s happening and when. This can make the sessions calmer, more predictable and even more fun.
We’ll also be encouraging parents and carers to join in with their children during some of the activities, helping them take part and making the evening a shared experience for everyone.
🕺 Session 1: 5:00 – 6:30 PM
For children aged 4 years and up
🎧 Session 2: 7:00 – 8:30 PM
For older children / teens (11+)
SENDisco provides a safe, welcoming space for children and young people with special educational needs, with music, activities and a chance to socialise.
⭐ If you haven’t tried SENDisco before, this could be a great one to come along to!
