Hello September

World Su***de Prevention Day takes place on 10 September every year and is organised by the International Association for Su***de Prevention and co-sponsored by the World Health Organisation. It was established to ‘raise awareness around the globe that su***de can be prevented’. We agree. This is why we advocate for building positive mental health in and through work by creating a culture of prevention. This includes providing all workers with the knowledge, tools and confidence to recognise mental ill-health in themselves and in their colleagues. Through normalising conversations about mental health, it will end the stigma that persistently surrounds it and empower more people to seek support if/when they need it.

Please be reminded that Blurry Days CIC focuses on helping individuals syruggling with their mental health, we're also here to support families who are affected from family members having mental health issues. We also raise awareness in communities, and have support groups.

If you need help with your mental health, or know someone who does, feel free to contact us either via Facebook or email us directly email@blurrydays.co.uk

'One step at a time' encapsulates the importance of small, consistent actions to improve mental health and well-being.
Focusing on gradual, manageable and achievable steps rather than overwhelming oneself with sudden or drastic changes.

This approach can make a significant difference in managing stress, anxiety and other mental health challenges.
It highlights that even minor positive changes, like taking a short walk, practicing self-care and seeking support when you need to, it is possible to build a stronger foundation and make sustainable changes that contribute to a healthier long-term mental well-being, by adapting the 'one step at a time' approach.

If you are struggling with your mental health, if you feel alone or in a dark place, reach out to us for support:

Taking care of your mental health is an act
of self-love and is just as important as your physical health. You are worthy of happiness
and peace of mind. There is no shame in
seeking help for your mental health - it's OK to be not OK - we feel, we think (and overthink) because we are human, not robots!

Reach out, we're here with a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, a hand to pull you up, but most of all with a heart to understand and offer support!

National Bereaved Parents Day was set up in 2020 after it was realised there wasn’t a specific day that honoured bereaved parents from all walks of life. The idea was to bring together anyone affected by the loss of a child to show them that they are not alone.

National Bereaved Parents Day will take place on Thursday 3rd July to raise awareness for all parents who have lost a baby or child of any age, and from any circumstance.

Please join us to help spread the message, keep that conversation going, raise awareness and show the bereaved parent community that they are NOT alone.

In 2024...
250,000 Miscarriages
2214 Stillbirths
3577 child deaths 0-17 years
TikTok deaths - no data released, however, there are reports suggesting that children around the world are filming themselves then posting videos in adrenaline attempts, which sadly go wrong. A modern carnage of dares that have apparently been around for years, are now falling in to the hands of young children and teenagers from powerful social media algorithms. Many children are dying as a result of the latest TikTok crazes, they are so powerful and dangerous but devastatingly kids fail to grasp the risks.

Anyone struggling, reach out, we are here to offer bereavement support.

Recently we've seen a rise in missing people and su***des locally, yet still, nothing is being done to offer help and support in local communities for vulnerable people struggling with their mental health.
Some people are too scared, too ashamed or don't know where to go for help, for some the nhs waiting lists are just too long and their turn comes too late!

Hello and welcome to Blurry Days CIC, we are a bunch of professionals volunteering our time to offer help and support to individuals, families, groups and communities, whether that be therapy or counselling sessions, support groups or out and about raising awareness on mental health.

Mental health encompasses emotional, psychological, and social well-being, influencing how we think, feel, and act. It affects our ability to cope with stress, interact with others, and make healthy choices. Good mental health allows individuals to realize their full potential, learn effectively, and contribute to their communities.

We are just a small bunch of professionals - psychologist, therapists, counsellor, life coach, health coach and fitness instructor - doing our bit for local communities.
You may ask, what do we get out of it?
Fulfilment, there is no higher reward or greater feeling than saving someone's life, providing tools and techniques which enable people to thrive and become the best versions of themselves, to offer help, support and guidance to individuals struggling or in dark places, and offer support to families who really don't know what to do about a vulnerable relative.

Our work don't just stop there, we want to raise awareness to communities, youth clubs, schools and workplaces, the more we help people to accept that 'it's OK to be not ok' and help people realise 'they are not alone', it may become easier for individuals to reach out and ask for help.

At the moment we are a small organisation but over time our plan is to grow with the need, and right now the need for mental health facilities is massive.

If you, or someone you know is struggling with their mental health, reach out to us....drop us a message and we will get back to you ASAP!
